Hi, I thought it would be a nice idea to open a topic where people can post their planned recreational vacations for the coming year. You can post anything you want as long its for recreational purposes. Well, I'll start. Because we want to go somewhere outside of Europe, me and a good friend of mine have decided to go New York City for almost 2 weeks somewhere during the summer holidays in 2010. I am pretty done with the Mediterranean Sea beach vacations where most hotel guests speak the same language as you, so it's time for some variation! I have never been to the US and I think NYC would be perfect for me as a student. My ultimate plan is to go to US West Coast for a much longer time when I am a bit older though. [insert tourist smiley] So what are your plans for 2010 or do you rather stay home and be lazy? Hoppah

Not trying to be offensive, but there always seems to be a group of people who has problems like you when a new version has been released. If v1.9 works, v2.0 should work too. That's it.

That has definately nothing to do with the LA mod, but with your videocard drivers.

You need to redownload the newest version of that submod (v1.1) which is compatible with LA Mod v2.0.

1) Not sure if I can change that 2) Get the officer close to the dog and use the Call Dog command again. 3) Where do you want to use it for? The Check Victim command is only used to cover dead bodies or the Missing Person event in Deluxe freeplay.

Mono (or monophonic) is audio on a single channel. Stereo (or stereophonic) is dual channel (left and right). Only mono audio files are supported in Emergency 4. Stereo wouldn't even be better for this game. Hoppah

HI! After you bought the sirens from the website, you need to convert them to .wav format and make sure they're MONO. Then move the files to the \Los Angeles Mod v2.0\Audio\Fx\sirens\ folder and rename them to one of the existing sirens (Siren01 to 06). Good luck! Hoppah

HI! Anway, besides the scripts you need to add a whole new person to game to make it work. You first need to find and copy an appropiate model and edit its texture. Then you need to create and edit the prototype of the model in the editor. Then create a Unit ID folder in the \Los Angeles Mod v2.0\Units\Personnel\Fire Department\ folder of the mod. Then you need to edit some language files and don't forget the portraits.xml file in the Specs folder! Good luck! Hoppah

HI! Persons do not have fire resistance. The fire resistance is part of the 'material' of the person. You can edit that material in the same screen as the resistances. If you use EMPerson_03b you should be fine I think. The walking/running thing is part of the upgrades of the person. You need to add the ID of your new person to campaignprogress.xml in the Save folder. Make sure your new person has Alpha Relflections, otherwise you won't see the flare.
