  1. Hello,

    This is a map of FDNY Box Locations (May be missing some boxes)

    The page may take a moment to load due to the large amount of POIs  (16,252) depending on your internet connection.

    M=MANHATTN

    B=BROOKLYN
    X=BRONX
    Q=QUEENS
    R=STATEN ISLAND

    You can search for a box by entering the borough prefix (above) and then the box number into the maps search box.

    There are 16,292 Box Locations on this map as of 1/4/15

    Thank You

  2. The varied response is awesome. Can u transmit a 10-75 as well (4 engines, 3 ladders, 2 Chiefs and special units if available)?

    Also, I noticed some of the responses are off. I know that there arn't enough units in the mod to make it completely realistic but you can check the link below out to help if you would like.

    Thank you!

  3. Is there any chance of maybe, in future versions, being able to draft out of the river or a pond? It would be cool to be able to have a tanker draft out of the water and maybe fill one of the portable ponds which other tankers could use to draft out of.

    Great work guys

  4. So I have begun rewriting the call vehicle scripts so that they don't run on a constant check anymore. This should end the lag that happens every second.

    I have an idea that could be interesting. Make it so that units are finite. Meaning each vehicle costs money and takes time to arrive. Basically replacing the normal vehicle send menu with the commands of the battalion chief and the dispatchers on the map.

    What do the people think?

    That would be awesome. Great idea.

    Itchboy- I just was looking at the volunteer script in the scripts folder. Holy cow. I know that I could never do that!

    As always, Thank you to all who have contributed to this great project.

  5. The lag that occurs is due to the large number of scripting checks that are done every second. Its not your GPU or PC.

    The game checks the following every second:

    • Stop Signs
    • Existence of the off map units in the map
    • The time (for dynamic night sounds)
    • Status of each volunteer car (on map or off map)
    This is why there is lag. I am working on finding a more efficient way of doing this script checks. In the mean time, you're going to have to live with it.
    Is there any way to diminish this? I've seen a couple videos on YouTube where this is not a problem. If not, that's fine and I still love the mod.

    Thank You!

  6. First of all, great job. This mod is outstanding. I would like to thank Bama and Itchboy for their hard work, especially during the last few days.

    I counted at least 4 or 5 car path issues, and heres a weird thing. Every 1 second the game lags for 1/4 or 1/2 a second, enough to be noticeable, just when I'm going around the map, no vehicles lit up or anything. This is the only mod that that happens with, really odd.

    Other than that, absolutely great job.

    Thank you!

  7. I have another question where is the alarm button to call in volunteers is there one at the station or do you have to call out of map units to bring in people to man trucks!

    Yeah its a Grey box by the left side of the front of the station.

    Also, if you click the 1 on the bottom of the screen, you can call engine 1, 2 or the squad and the right amount of volleys will come to the trucks, which automatically respond to where u originally called them to once they are manned.

    Sorry if that didn't make any sense

    :)

    Merry Christmas!
