  1.  I have a big modding project coming up soon and I don't want to spoil the mod and its vehicles that I will be making. I want to preserve the uniquness of these vehicles and wish to improve the modding community by not handing out content so easilly anymore. Its about time we ended this reskin mod ********* and actually had a set of unique, tasteful and special mods. We need to go beyond repainting a car and calling it a mod.

    Looks great, Itchboy.

You make great points, thank you for all of your hard work!

  2.

    From another thread.

Your second question, it's mainly guessing and how you would like it designed. For example, if you're trying to make an asphalt outline for a building, make it, import it, test to see if the building fits then go back and scale it until it fits how you want it.

    Thank You!

One more thing if you don't mind; Is there any technique you have for making the curved sections of roads?

    Thanks

  3. Hmmm.....did you replace the headlight textures being used directly?

    Pics would help.

And you're in the wrong section. This is for Em4, not Em5.

Thanks Itchboy. I think I did change the textures, I attached the textures below.

  4. Hey Guys,

This seems like it is probably a very basic question, but i can't get it to work. I am trying to change the headlight skins of Itchboy's Tahoe to the 2015 headlights for a personal mod. I have changed the side, front, and headlight files to the new headlight skin, but for some reason both the new and the old headlight skins keeps showing up on the front. Do I have to do something with UV mapping?

    Thanks!

  5. It is mainstream now, mate. They aren't just very visible on the internet because not much people in north america have been taking footage of it.

I do have to say, they have grown on me since I first saw them, I like them now. My FD and PD have already gotten them and I am starting to see them used a lot elsewhere as well.

  6. Hello,

I have edited bama's engine, and I accidentally deleted a part of the model, as shown in the picture.

As I am just starting to model, I can't figure out how to add this part back.

Any help on adding this back would be appreciated, I have read the modeling tutorial, but still can't figure it out.

  7. If I used your lightbar pack, do i have to use zmoddler to mount them onto the vehicles, if not: how do i insert and mount them in the EM4 editor. also would i have to do the lighting or do they automatically work without lighting needing to be done

As for the light bars, you need to add them as children of the car in editor. Check out other mods to see how they do it.

The lighting will have to be done by you.

      • Has a rambar, looks custom, you're gonna have to make one yourself

The NYPD pushbar might be able to pass as this, even though the NYPD one is smaller.

  8. The roads would be a tighter squeeze. You could just put one of his cars on an original map, and see what it's like in the lane. If you're comfortable enough with that, then you're set.

Also, when creating a texture, is there a certain way to know where buildings will be or is it just guess and check?

In other words, when I am creating a texture, how do I know, while in Ps where to put parking spaces around a fire station, for example?

    Thank You!

  9. My vehicles are scaled to Nnico's CVPI, so I'd go with at least 3 inches.

    Awesome, Thanks guys!
