  1. A few idea Ive got have already been mentioned, but I'll add a few more in - Road accidents with no persons trapped or injured, just to wash down the road and make the car safe (disconnect battery etc...) - People locked inside/outside of house - Carbon Monoxide alarm actuating - Range of medical emergencies - cardiac arrests, psychiatric patients, seizures, burns, back pains, head ache, chest pains, diabetic problems, nosebleeds etc... just to add to the variety of the medical calls! - is there a hospital on the new freeplay map? If so a new call could be a hospital transfer... or a doctors call to transfer patient from nusing home/home address into hospital - Discharge patients on scene who dont require hospital treatment / Calls to "man laying on the ground" which turn out to be just a tramp sleeping - Single room fires instead of an entire apartment block on fire! (how often does that happen) - Ambulance crews able to take patients to the ambulance in chair rather than stretcher all the time Also I LOVE the spine board idea! Would it be possible to stabilise vehicles involved in road accidents with blocks - http://www.flickr.com/photos/traumahawk/8136222518/
  2. You need to edit the spawn point properties. Which determines how often a person enters the map to walk a particular path. You need to edit the 'interval' (circled in red) The less you make this the more often a person will appear and begin walking the map. See screenshots. Hope that helps.
  3. Not a strange idea. Its something I've considered doing. I've always loved bonfire night, and as a kid remember fire crews doing 30+ calls a night on bonfire night itself and the days on the run up to it, going out to bonfires, rubbish, derelict houses, cars... all the local kids used to go nuts and just take bonfire night as an excuse to set fire to anything!. Liverpool was the best place to be to experience this! They used to go crazy! How you'd put this into a mod?..... My idea that i'll probly do one day, is edit the map and create loads of bonfires. Edit fire objects so only certain things can burn like bins, bushes, trees, piles of wood, abandoned buildings. Its all do-able. Just not sure if its possible to have fireworks going off all the time during gameplay? As already mentioned this would just be an addition to a mod. Maybe as a mission?
  4. Seeing as bonfire night has just finished, thought I'd post a few repo's. 1) Crews begin work at 18:00hrs on 5th November at station 20. "20L1" The small fires unit is seen turning out to the first call of the night. Police are on scene with a bonfire in the roadway. 2) 20L1 in attendance dealing with the bonfire in the roadway 3) A small garden bonfire gets out of control, catching to surrounding bushes and trees. 20P2 is in attendance using 2 hose reels. 4) 20P1 and 20P2 called to a derelict house alight on a nearby estate. This estate is reknowned for violence towards fire crews. Police are in attendance. Youths begin kicking off, throwing stones and fireworks at working fire crews. 2 teenagers are detained by police. Fire crews use 2 Breathing Apparatus, 2 hose reels and one main jet to extinguish the fire. 5) 20P1 and 20P2 out again to a firework which has been put through a letterbox. The fire was out on arrival, but the house was heavily smoke logged. Crews used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the house of smoke. 1 male and 1 female were treated by the ambulance service for the effects of smoke inhalation, both refused hospital treatment.
  5. Thought i'd post one to keep the topic going!. Changed a few things in my personal mod, such as the firefighters, ambulance & rapid response vehicle. 1st - RTC car over turned. 2nd - Flat fire persons reported. A quantity of refuse left in a first storey corridor set alight by a discarded cigarette. The male occupant of the flat was trapped. He was given fire survival advice by fire control whilst appliances were on their way. The man was over-come by smoke and rescued, unconscious by firefighters on their arrival. 4 pumps, the duty fire cover officer, fire investigation team and the Incident Support Unit attended the scene.
  6. Sorry for late reply. I've paid for the full version, all legit. I view the model in 3D and perspective and the light bar is there. All the lines on the vehicle are blue, but the lightbar has orange lines. The model exports fine and is playable in game, just the lightbar isnt there
  7. Hi guys, Hope someone can help. I've been getting to grips with Zmodeler, and spent a whle editing a vehicle, I've merged 2 models together (2nd model a being lightbar). I export the file as a. v3o file and that works fine, just the light bar isn't on the vehicle? Is there some way I must attach the lightbar to be a part of the model? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks (edit: apologies should be in modding & mod help topic!)
  8. 60% of the UK fire service is made up of retained firefighters, who are paid a retaining fee to be on call, and paid per hour for each fire call. Plus payment for drills etc... Sod the hose reel, who cares lol. But seeing as you want to be picky, Stage 2 isn't in use, there is only 1 BA board in use, and only 2 wearers. As I understand from here in the Midlands Stage 2 is only implimented when more than 1 board or more than 8 to 10 wearers are committed. Not sure how you boys do it, but thats how it is in the mids With the same BA board can be used for stage 1 or 2
  9. I use a change clothes script, downloaded it off the german forum
  10. 06:02, 999 call from Seaford Caravan Park, a camper van is alight. The caller confirms he managed to get all of the gas cylinders out and move them to a safe distance. The pagers were activated for staion 09 Sandon. Firefighters respond to the station and turnout with a crew of 5 with CCDR Smith in-charge. 08P1 from the nearby wholetime station is also mobilised. 09P1 arrive first and get to work with 2 hose reels and 2 breathing apparatus. Stop message recieved at 07:15 "09P1 from Crew Commander Smith, stop for Seaford Caravan Park, Seaford. One mobile home 100 percent damaged by fire. 2 hose reels, 4 breathing apparatus have been in use. Crews have been working in offensive mode. Crews will be detained a futher 30 minutes turning over and damping down"
  11. Cheers mate Funny how you think these things up isnt it
  12. Late reply, but great repo e34p Love the BA board and stem lights! Heres just a little one from me. Car V Horse on country road. Ambulance service responded with 2 ambulances, rapid response vehicle and two air ambulances. Rider thrown from horse, loss of consciousness, ?broken leg and arm. Imobilised using spine board and conveyed by air ambulance. Car driver was unconscious throughout the incident and suffered multiple head fractures. He was anaesthetised by helimed doctors. The horse was dead and a local vet attended, the horse was removed with the aid of a local farmer with his tractor.

  15. As theres not been a repo for a while, did this little one this afternoon. 999 call recieved to the Ambulance Service emergency operations centre from a concerned female, stating she's found her asthmatic boyfriend not breathing. CPR advice was given by the call taker over the phone until the arrival of the first rapid response vehicle 6 minutes later. The paramedic advised the girlfriend to continue CPR whilst he set up ECG and o2. The first ECG showed the patient was in PEA (pulseless electrical activity). The patient is intubated using an endoracheal tube and IV access is gained, epinephrine administered as per PEA protocol. After 3 cycles of drug administration the patient is still in PEA, and is conveyed to hospital. 20. Fire crews called to reports of smoke issuing from barn. 3 children were seen running from the barn just prior to the fire starting. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us The first pump arrives and gets 2 45mm jets to work and get set into a hydrant. The officer incharge sends a "make pumps 5, turntable ladder required" message as the fire is spreading rapidly. Uploaded with ImageShack.us 2nd pump arrives and immediatley gets another jet to work and crews rig in B.A to prepare to enter the middle barn to prevent fire spread. Uploaded with ImageShack.us With 5 pumps and TL now on scene good progress is being made. 6 main jets and 4 BA are in use at this stage. The TL is being prepared for use. Due to poor water supplies in the area crews set into a nearby lake. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us TL monitor in use. Good progress is made, and the fire is eventually surrounded and damping down and turning over can commence. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  21. Cheers Nah its still models from my private mod. But the Ambulance, RRV and helimed are modeled off West Midlands vehicles. Similar ones will be in the West Mids mod
  22. Seeing as theres not been many repos for a while, thought i'd nock a few quick ones up. Ambulance control recieved a 999 call around 8am this morning. The incident involved 2 cars in collision on a junction. Both drivers self extricated before the arrival of the emergency services. The driver of the silver car was shocked but not injured. The driver of the green car was complaining of neck and back pain, and was immobilised before being conveyed to hospital. Uploaded with ImageShack.us 10:22am fire control recieved the first of numerous 999 calls to reports of a flat fire. The standard Pre Determined Attendance (PDA) of 3 pumps and a Turntable ladder were mobilised. Crews were greeted by flames and smoke issuing from a 2nd floor flat. Luckily the flat was empty at the time of the incident. Crews used 6 Breathing Apparatus and 1 main jet to bring the fire under control . Uploaded with ImageShack.us 12:05 - 999 call to ambulance control reporting a male fallen from scaffolding on a building site. An ambulance, air ambulance with a doctor on board and the Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) were mobilised to the scene. The patient had sustained a major fall from the 2nd floor. The man suffered serious head injuries and had a GCS of 6, he was agitated and the doctor anaesthetised the patient and he was flown to a major trauma centre. Uploaded with ImageShack.us 14:16 Fire crews mobilised to reports of a car fire. Two hose reels and 2 BA were in use. The police were requsted as the incident is believed to be arson. Uploaded with ImageShack.us 14:18 just minutes after the reported car fire, control recieved a call to bins alight at the side of a block of flats.
