manually work the doors, that sounds like another script all together. that would be a lot of work. if i didnt have serious classes this 12 weeks i would help you out right now but i can. i am also working on my own little submod.

In reference to what MikeyPi said it is really hard to modify the station scripts. I cheated in a way becuase I cut the scripts up inside a single script. It doesnt own the streets but it will turn a head or two. The three fire stations work indepentantly, the only draw back is you have to have sperate v3o's for each station if you want multiple engines. Doesnt really effect me because I use diferent skins for each station. It works like a champ, i have not had a glitch on the stations yet. i had to modify the start, station and tostation scripts. Took me a while to figure it out but once you understand the scripts and how they work you could set up as many stations as you want.

that is a deluxe event. if you dont have deluxe you need to go into the editor and delete all the things associated with it.

I learned by looking at other peoples work. mostly LA Mod. just open the editor and see what the vo's look like, how they are placed and what they are for. scripting is a whole other thing. i knew about some C++ from high school.

i miss that fire station, there was a lot there, also a lot of bugs, lol.

there was not a shortcut put out by the mod like the LA Mod, this one you have to load manually or make a short cut yourself.

you might want to point that vo to another const char than vo_usar2. there is a vo named usar2 and it might confuse it maybe

could you post the whole script please(from rapidshare or something). from what i can see it seems like you are missing something but i cant get my fingers on it.

with everything in here i dont think i have seen anything about maybe having the fire fighters in the res1cue truck to change into dive gear?

i just got the call for the car over the pier and i had the res1cue truck....and no diver, lol. could not change into dive gear and i had to call one from off the map.

does squad 55 have a youtube channel or does someone post videos for you guys?

yes its the original LA Mod map. i dont know about a few edits but there is a lot going on in the first release as well as subsequent releases. right now i am running into issues with the map itself but as soon as i have that all set up and running smooth there will be a v1 release.
