the hummer parts need to be exact, with no errors. also make sure that its in the fs start, fs and to fs. one little error can cause this to happen.

there are 2 parts of a model, you have the model and then you have the prototype. you might need to build it in the editor so you can have it. do you have both parts? and if you dont you will need to build it in the editor.

LAToFS script - under dummy checked parked you have "parkinglotfound=true" under the code lines instead of on top. it starts on the swr and stops on mcu.

thats mostly what i see from your scripts. i would need to know the layout of your stations and all that to really see what is going on. if you could take some screens of your stations and what happens when you tell them to park.

also, what vehicles have the cant park problems.

and for it to work in la mod you would have to add it to those scripts.

@Dyson. you know, it might look rough but all my alterations started out rough. i like the look of it. i have both the snow and regular map. i have made some changes to what you produced but i also have a working 3 fire station script also. from what you started from to what it is now is a big difference. you inspire me to keep moding, even though i dont feel like it.

example....take the fp_params file from the mod you want to merg with the la mod. open the la mod fp_params and add the lines from the vehicles you want to it. save. repeat for siren script and so forth.

i think you need to change the freeplay.dds in the maps folder. i am not 100 percent but i would say maybe 90, lol.

thats a lot of work. you have to pull the models and prototypes over. you need to merg the fp_params, siren, topd.... test, see what is wrong, add commands, change what was messed up.....

for a tutorial you could always look at adding a vehicle by Hoppah. you can find it here.

there are also woods maps that you can use. they are in the approved submods area somewhere.

it sounds like the script is not fully completed. i would have to see the entire script to help you.

put your file on something like rapidshare or something and post the link.

it would be in your main 911fr em4 folder. it will look like a regular start game but with the word editor on it.

or you could duplicate your exe file and change the end of your target to look like this:

they should all be compatable if you do it that way, but somewhere you are either messing up or changing something that doesnt need to be changed.

well technically there isnt much to make, just a lot to reskin and script in, lol.

go ahead and add the car into the mod. then add one scripting piece at a time. like add the fp_param, test, then add the siren script piece, test....and so forth. that might be a lot to do but you would be able to see what happened or where you went wrong, if you did.

interesting...try adding it one piece at a time and see if something isnt right. i have no idea why its doing that to you.

i had to download it and see what all was included. from what i can tell maybe you messed up the fp_parameters. i would be guessing because i usually add all my own cars instead of just pulling mods out and pushing all the files over. check that out along with the portrait files and see if they match.

if you post a download for your scripts i could help you out, but with no scripts there could be no help.

@acer2011, i think somewhere you went wrong on that install
