i use this website a lot for police cars if you want it. http://policecarsite.50webs.com/main.html enjoy - Jon -
it looks like you were on the right track but the skin isnt on there correctly. i think it would be best if you tried to manualy paint it and just get the decals pasted on. just my opinion. thats what i do. give me a day and i will see what else i can come up with. - Jon

could you post the orlando pd car and what your reskinned car looks like ingame please. - Jon
-
what are you trying to reskin if you dont mind me asking? - Jon
-
you could take the picture and paste it on top of the reskined one. as long as they matched up i dont see a problem. i dont know which one is BETTER but i dont like photoshop so i use gimp. use whichever one you like. - Jon
-
the way i do it is i open and edit it with gimp 2 and just copy and paste what i need from the picture to the skin and just hand do all the rest. its a way that can be a pain sometimes but it looks good. at least i think so. take a look at some i did. http://forum.emergency-planet.com/index.php?showtopic=6744 if you need some pointers or something im sure any one of us would help you. - Jon
-
i guess you could try that, just make sure they fit really close to the vehicle your are reskinning. - Jon

wow, nice model, but some ugly comments. good job. - Jon

Submod: New Freeplay Map Second Edition - update
Texas_DPS replied to w00d's topic in Submods [Not released]
you will rename these 2 files, dfreeplay.e4m & dfreeplay.dds, to freeplay.e4m & freeplay.dds. then just copy and paste in the maps folder and overwright. there ya go. - Jon -
i think this will be my next shot at a personal mod. im almost finished with my Dallas mod and as soon as i iron some scripting out with the new w00ds map i think i will give this one a shot. i will also need some help with it because i want the lightbars to be correct and not just a reskin. i think i have learned a lot so far but im sure there is more learning to go. - Jon

Submod: New Freeplay Map Second Edition - update
Texas_DPS replied to w00d's topic in Submods [Not released]
the only ones you change is the dfreeplay ones. leave the freeplays alone. just overwrite them and you should be good. - Jon -
on a personal note i liked the way the police cars looked. - Jon
-
i was thinking about it untill i started looking at the lights on the GCPD cars and thought i should get into modding first. it would be cool thought. i would like it. - Jon
