  7. it looks like you were on the right track but the skin isnt on there correctly. i think it would be best if you tried to manualy paint it and just get the decals pasted on. just my opinion. thats what i do. give me a day and i will see what else i can come up with. - Jon

  11. the way i do it is i open and edit it with gimp 2 and just copy and paste what i need from the picture to the skin and just hand do all the rest. its a way that can be a pain sometimes but it looks good. at least i think so. take a look at some i did. http://forum.emergency-planet.com/index.php?showtopic=6744 if you need some pointers or something im sure any one of us would help you. - Jon
  12. i guess you could try that, just make sure they fit really close to the vehicle your are reskinning. - Jon

  14. you will rename these 2 files, dfreeplay.e4m & dfreeplay.dds, to freeplay.e4m & freeplay.dds. then just copy and paste in the maps folder and overwright. there ya go. - Jon
  15. i think this will be my next shot at a personal mod. im almost finished with my Dallas mod and as soon as i iron some scripting out with the new w00ds map i think i will give this one a shot. i will also need some help with it because i want the lightbars to be correct and not just a reskin. i think i have learned a lot so far but im sure there is more learning to go. - Jon
  16. you dont if you have the deluxe version. if you dont have the deluxe version you have to rename the dfreeplay files to freeplay so you can play them normaly. - Jon
