LOL Too funny Gerard. I have my stupid days.. but when it comes to installing and using software, I know what I am doing. Yes.. connected to the internet. In fact before I get the error message... It says connected to Activation Server... Request Sent... then the request denied message. So its not my internet access... because Im writing this on the very same computer.

What version of the software do you use?

Well that was actually a serious question.

I had some issueson mine and I had to connect to dialup to get it to work correctly, but even then it took a second or two.

I assume that your copy isn't pirated as well.

But since you say that your computer is connecting to the server and saying that the activation process was connected to server, it sounds like a server error, like you're hitting up the wrong port or something.

Just humor me, you're connected to the internet on the same computer you installed 911 FR on right?

There is no parking feature like the one in emergency 4 for LA mod, this is mainly due to the fact that the vehicals (Ambulances, firetrucks, police cars) Do not have a virtual objectassigned to where they park, they are just vehicals that have an additional command (Lights on/Lights off) there is no solution to your issue short of making a whole new script or two of spawning or making the trucks/cars go to their respective parking places.

I thought that too, but messing with RBG channels didn't fix it, however, opening it up with a dds converter did. I think that there's a screw up when you open the people with Paint.net only.

Couldnt there be a way to make the controls the same as it is for the 911FR/E4? I like how the Emergency 3 LA Mod is but i wish there was a patrol script or just to make it sound more easier, more like the one for 911FR and E4, Hoppah is this something you could be working on later in the future as an update for this mod? It would be awesome to have the units go on patrol that way i have some Black and Whites near by then having to go all the way back to headquarters to get one as well being able to chase and automatically arrest/apprehend.

No there are none available and no one is working on one that I know of.

Got it from friend, it works on his pc, he has same exact pc except for video card. he burned me a copy.

it was probrably part of the debugging process for the game and they just never removed the reference from the shortcut doc.

I figured that too, now 'm looking for a way to enable them.

Are they in the LA Mod or only in the original game? Is there a way to get them into the game?

The feature is broken in the new map, if you play the original you will get this event.

I was working on my private mod today and I was going to change some of the hot keys.

In the "Keys.xml" file there's a little snippit that points to two commands...

"Killnp4"

"Burnnp5"

Respectivly

Kill with hot key Numberpad 4

Burn With hot key Numberpad 5

Has anyone gotten these commands to work?

Were is the City & County getting all this money? LA County is finishing up replacing the Squads as well. The Squads are 2010 Dodge 3500 with a clean idle engine. They are pretty but also very expensive as well.
