  1. I had the same error, mine was caused by the pd car not fully parked at the station so the perp wouldnt get out, so i clicked the go to pd station button again then i got the error and hit ignore, I sent the car back out into the street and hit the command again, I think the error is caused by the game responding to the go to station command while the vehicle is trying to follow that command the first time

  2. The rehab unit is kinda off...but, my police officers are always getting injured in the riots or gun shot wounds, is there anyway to make them automatically heal if they were parked at the police station, kinda like the fire station, if your FF gets injured, he is fine on the next call if he has been to the station, why not the cops, I mean a little bit of glazed doughnut goes a long way ;)

  3. What if a second battalion was created, it would be like a special operations chief that could call in the heavy rescue, move the USAR command to his panel so he would call it out instaed of B1, a roll back truck and your ALS RA and replace the BLS RA with the coroners van, so basically, you have all your heavy equipment units and some special units under his command for technical rescue stuff like vehicle in the water type incidents and the first battalion would be your normal fire units (engine, light force, RA's, etc.) and he could be in a dif. type of vehicle..***cough cough durango cough** ;), just my idea

  4. To answer the debate about the ranks in US fire depts:

In most moderate sized fire departments it goes:

    Firefighter

    D/O (driver/operator)

    Lieutenant*

    Captain

    Batt. Chief

    District/Division Chief

    Deputy Chief**

    Chief of Department

*- A typical shift last 24 hours with three shifts. So there is usually a captain who is the head of the company and his subordinates are Lt's who run the other two shifts, that way there is a definate head of the station but still a seperate officer for each shift.

**A deputy chief is the fire chief's right hand man but in most departments they assume another role (Public Information Officer, Safety Chief, etc.)

  5. a quint is a ladder that sprays basically,

Not true, a quint is a rig that has to support both engine and truck company roles, meaning a full compliment of hose and a pump panel and a fixed ariel device, so it would be an addition to the game for those fires in freeplay that end up on the second story but then you get exposures starting to burn. but thats my opinion ;)
