    Traffic Light Failure

    Train Crossing Failure

**Earthquake; not specific to one agency but mostly you have to deal with persons down and fires

Now as far as the FBI, Coast Guard, and National Guard, they arent used for specific incidents, the computer reccomends what to sedn to each incident for realism but the three basic services can handle all incidents. Every Incident listed is a multi-agency incident (i.e traffic accident requires PD for traffic control, fire for extrication, Tech for tow away, and EMS for injured) but i have listed the incident under the primary agency needed. Hope this helps :)

  2. dude, it was sarcasm ;) lol....anyways, i kinda like the whole diver takes to long, because 9 times out of ten in the real world when you have a vehicle that needs to be recovered from the water, the vic is DOA, so the diver taking too long kinda lets the life of the vic get lower and lower.... *evil laugh*. and hoppah, is the second station able to fit the tower and/or tiller?? i can see a submod coming if its possible...

  3. Im doing my own reskins and i have two questions, How can i change the type of units that can get in a vehicle, (ie. a CHP officer using an LAPD car) and the other one is how can i change the name of the unit so in the game it shows in the menu as LSCO crusier insted of LAPD crusier.

    Thanks

  5. Programs you need to use or want to buy:

    - Emergency 4; editor is already included

    - WordPad; for editing .xml and .script files.

    - Zmodeler2; Registered version. Zmodeler2 is relatively cheap and has the .v3o plugin to be able to export and import .v3o files.

    - Adobe Photoshop (recommended by most people including me) or Paint Shop Pro

Best way is to start with the easy things in the following order to learn modding.

    1. Changing textures to learn working with software like Photoshop.

    2. Emergency 4 coding; How mods are set up. And how to do things like adding cars, changing lights on cars and changing maps. Basicly to get used to the Emergency 4 editor.

    3. 3D-moddeling. Use my tutorial or different tutorials available on the internet. Try to make small things first or try to edit existing models. Try to make bigger models later. Don't stop until you are able to make 'acceptable' models for this game.

    4. UV-mapping. Creating textures for your models. You already should know how to use the software (step 1).

    5. Adding new vehicles to mods and make them work ingame. Read the 'Adding vehicles' tutorial to understand that.

    6. (optional) Scripting. Takes about a year before you will be able to create simple scripts if you don't have C++ experience already. Scripting is trial and error; even for me

    Good luck,

    Hoppah

...so could i use another 3d program and still get it into 911fr. cuz i have some professional stuff that id like to use

  6. i was talkin radioactive and nuclar waste.

oh, well in the game a contamination is never specified, so thats where i was lost, but it would be cool to have a chlorine truk flip ;)

Never that I know of. Not hear atleast. A pumper would be dispatched and they would put down sand or something like that let it soak up, and then they clean it up with a shovel.

most engines now have stuff called quick-dry and oil-sorbant, i think its more efficent than sand

  7. As far as MVAs w/ car fires, typically i would imagine you dispatch an engine to go to the accident, on some accidents the cars will be smoking, if you leave this unattended they explode/ignite. so you do get fires but the engines are on scene and automatically extinguish them before you realise that it was ever on fire
