  1. Thats good, what i saw at the begging of your video added an erie yet thrilling sense
  2. These lights remind me of christmas, and what a wonderful feeling it is P.S: Will there be drifting fog patches and falling snow in the game at all?
  3. Well, it doesn't have to be highspeed, but after the officer is shot the car can atleast drive away, they already have vehicle jacking missions in L.A mod, im sure a script could be added to allow the driver of the car to shoot the officer. Only difference is that this wont be a vehicle jacking, just a traffic stop gone wrong.
  4. In all versions of L.A mod you can pull vehicles over and issue them a ticket, this process involves the vehicle stopping where it is, the police cruiser parking behind the vehicle, and the police officer getting out and issueing a ticket, this is all done in a matter of seconds. However, if you were able to add onto this process, say add a script where the driver can suddenly pull a gun, shoot the police officer, and drive away prompting a high speed chase, well, I'm sure that speaks for itself. P.S: This kind of event would make a perfect LODD mission. Aswell, please tell me there will be atleast falling snow and drifting fog patches in game just demonstrated at the very begging of the video posted above by CFD?
  5. If I may point out, In L.A Mod you can select a police cruiser and pull over a civilian vehicle of your choice, however there really is no scripting for the officer to get out of the car, do a alchohol test, and if the guy blows the legal limit then the cop would take the guy/girl out of the car, cuff them, and put them in the cruiser. In L.A Mod you get the officer getting out of the car, but doesnt do anything.
  6. Not to mention CFD, how much better the illumination will be during the night when the strobes reflect of the snow
  7. I really enjoyed that mod primarly because of the snow, it adds a feeling of epicness I can't describe with words, I really hope you guys can put it in P.S: Picture this, 2 RCMP Vehicles roaring down a snowy side road lights and sirens blazeing going code 3 to a shoot out, snow falling gently in the wind, cant get a better feeling than that.
  8. That's why I mentioned toggling it on and off if thats possible? The people that can run it can toggle snow on, and those that cant run it can toggle snow off. If it can't be toggled on and off, then you could probaly re-edit the map after the final release of this mod and add snow to the map, then release the map with snow as a serperate download. P.S: This is just an idea, or as I say "Food For Thought"
  9. Sort of off topic a little bit, but since it is winter and it ussualy snows in surrey, is there anyway to toggle snow off and on within the map? because it looks absolutely stunning when you see a fire truck roaring down a snowy highway going code 3, the snow defines and illuminates the lighting espicaly at night time. If not then it would be another idea to intergrate into the map
  10. I was just gonna say, that tomar siren sounds like a recording they took out of mario.
  11. Something I may add about your PASS Idea CFD, have you considered putting air restrictions on fire fighters with SCBA?. A average tank can last 30m-60m in real life, depending on how hard you breath. Mabe there is some way you can put air restrictions on the SCBA equipped firefighters, aswell, can you script it so more than one fire fighter can take up a hose and move into the house to battle the blaze, kind of like a breach and enter with swat teams. That will add a ton of realisim. Which brings me to my final question, Is there anyway to script a swat team or a group of selected police officers to break down a door, enter the room arrest a person as a squad in a single movement? P.S: I absolutely love the sirens, espically for the BCAS supervisor with the pac-man Waka Waka call
  12. I had the exact same problum, Uninstall everything related to emergency 4 and re install it. It worked for me, not sure if it will work for you but I had the same probum you did, its worth a try
  13. I think I am able to get my hot little hands on some tones, These our old tones we used to use, but we no longer use them and I cant get my hands on the new ones, however the old tones are real full recordings without any interuptions, I will see what I can do in regards to those, any tones I do get I will submit promptly to goog
  14. Just out of curiousity, have you guys changed the pager tones or the "Fire House Alarm" for the fire departments?
  15. On a medical call firefighters will ussualy wear there turnout pants, In my department when we get a first reasponder call, we must atleast put our turnout boots and turnout pants on, we then bring our turnout jackets with us, but we ussualy dont wear them unless it is night time, at night it is mandatory to be wearing full turnout gear for safety reasons. We do this because of the reflective material on our turnout gear. P.S: I would recomend skinng the ff/paramedics the opposite way around of L.A mod, Like I said above we ussualy wear turnout pants and turnout gloves.
  16. Speaking on behalf of my department, we never aid BCAS unless there is a MVA, the paramedics ussaly do all of the medical while we support the patients neck or hand the paramedics the medical equipment. when we are first on the scene we can stabalize a patient, apply bandages, secure etc, but most of the work is done by paramedics. I should also add firefighters and paramedics can have a hard time getting along with each other because we have different proceduers. Back on topic, our department always reasponds in full turnout gear for an MVA or a fire, It is ussaly only the captain or chief's that reaspond to an incident without turnout gear, but they have their gear in the back of the truck and can put it on if need be. P.S: Hope I have made it a little more clear, every Department has different standards and different procedures to be followed, I am not sure of surreys, but I hope this still helps.
  17. I have one more thing to add, 1: To allow more than one paramedic to opperate on a patient.
  18. Thats fine, I am a senior member in the parksville fire department, the thickness and length of hoses dose vary from department to department based on the buildings in the area, but all I am pointing out is you always see more than one firefighter on a hose, In our department it doesnt matter of the person can hold it by themselves, its a matter of teamwork. As for the jaws of life we do have a pair that are fairly light and any firefighter can operate it by themselves, but the "Teamwork" factor comes into play
  19. I have a few ideas, not sure if they have been covered or if they have already been intergrated into the game, but I will suggest them. 1: More Than One Fire Fighter Needed To Operate A Hose. ( from experience I can tell you that if one firefighter were to operate a hose by himself, he will be blown off his ass and sent flying across the road, trust me on that one, we ussaly have two-three guys on a hose 2:Fire Fighters Should Be Allowed To Wear Reflective Vests ( At an accident scene firefighters are ussaly required to wear a reflective vest 3: More Than One FireFighter Needed To Operate The Jaws Of Life ( This machinery is not easy to operate by yourself) 4: Be Able To Select A Group Of Police Officers And Have Them Aim Their Guns At One Subject To Order Them Onto There Stomachs ( I have alawys seen them do this) PS: That is a good point you bring up goog, fire hydrants are there to be hooked up to the pumper to keep it from draining empty. That being said, we almost never hook up hoses to fire hydrants individually, all hoses are hooked up to the pumper so we can controll the *Flow Rate* or *PSI* of water being distributed through each hose.
  20. This is true, but consider this, when you attack him all the rioters turn there attention on your officers and attack you even after you throw a flash bang, aswell he is ussaly in the center of the crowd. Now if you subdue every one at the same time then all your officers will be saved from a brutal gang beat.
  21. Trust me dave, the wait is worth it, the longer you wait the better the mod will be.
  22. I am going to do this in steps. 1: Send the closest police units available to the scene 2: get your police officers out of the car and have them redirect people so no one else can join the riot (The rioters only attack you when you arrest them) 3: Call in Swat and EMS, take as much time as you need to get the right amount of personal required to suppress the riot. Since the rioters wont attack you, and no one else can join the riot because the police officers are redirecting them, you can place your units accordingly. ( I recommend two SWAT officers or police officers per rioter) 4: Get one of your swat men to equip a flash bang and toss it into the crowd 5: Select TWO police officers to arrest one rioter, continue this untill each rioter is subdued. PS: Some rioters wont give in easily and they will be injured, this is what you will need the EMS for. This method only works in freeplay, Hope I helped
  23. I bealive it, and I dont mind the replacement, but there is one thing I am skeptical of that no one seemed to mention. I am more concerned about the sudden rise in Gang releated violence, Auto theft, Theft, Assualt etc while RCMP members are getting pulled out of service, their ranks will be weakend and gangs will take advantage of the "Transition" period. PS: I really am sorry to start this discussion on the RCMP mod, but I couldnt help it.
  24. Better realease this mod before 2014, because British Coulumbia will probaly not renew their contract with the RCMP hence they will be replaced by a different provincial police force entirely. PS: sorry to deviate off topic, I couldnt help but post this.
