Hello,

It is has been so long since I have played Emergency 3 as i have EM4 but as I saw that it was to be quite a while until English mod cam out I wanted to go on the ones on EM3. I reinstalled my game (my computer had changed since i last played it) and downloaded the patch and then the mods. It didn't work. I have searched this forum and found nothing short of gobbledegook on how it works. Could someone explain in clear English:

1.) How I install the Game

2.) How I install the patch and where I put it.

3.) How I install a mod (e.g. West Midlands)

If the events are hard coded then there is no chance. if it would be difficult but possible there is no chance. I have very little modding experience, especially in scripting.

You lot must be really bored of watching my stupid, closed-minded posts but here we go again.

Is it possible (I cry again) to do an accident that not only spawns crashed car and injured but also a criminal that runs? You know like a hit and run incident so you have to clear up, take away the injured and catch the criminal.

Any thoughts would be appreciated, I feel like a leech on good peoples time, oh well.

Hi,

I have some problems that I need help with.

Firstly, how do you place casualties for a road accident on a map in the editor??? I had a search and didn't find much.

Secondly, I have downloaded Sniper's lightbars and I don't know how to get them into the editor and onto a vehicle. I have shuffled them about a bit but it still doesn't work.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

As I have said, when I finish my exams I will have a go at modelling one but in the meantime anyone is welcome to have a try as long as they post their results.

I have currently got 2000 points of Guard, they are my main army, I also have Arbites for Necromunda.

Isn't Warhammer 40K the game where people build big landscapes for battles and you build/paint the units that you buy? I've always wanted to do something like that, dunno why but that appeals to me (building and minature wargaming).

I have a friend who used to player Warhammer. He really enjoyed it but I think he's more into rallying and motorsports now.

Building the landscapes isn't a key part but you can do it if you want. The key element is buying, building, painting and playing with the minatures. It appeals to me on a gaming and modelling level.

As motorcyclists are much more likely to have accidents on our roads, is there a way of doing motorcycle crashes in EM4? If so how would I go about making one? Would I have to Z-Model a motorcycle and then import it?

This is just me thinking aloud so it will probably lead to nowhere as I can't seem to commit to anything.

Regardless, your thoughts would be appreciated.

I do find it slightly ironic that in a post about Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar Sgt. Wulf seems to have spelt 'through' wrong (check - it's missing a 'h') in his original post (or it's just poor grammar as I don't understand 'my lungs trough the nostrils'). To add insult to injury he has been edited for poor language.
