  1. Wow love the squad and the convoy of police cars. Keep up the great work.
  2. Having a repair center/garage for all Fire, EMS, Police units would be great. Suggestions: Maybe you can couple the tiller and an engine into a light force group that will travel as one, just like how the FDNY Haz-mat travels with the equipment truck in your NY Mod. Just throwing this idea up in the air; I know you want to keep some unique features just for the NY Mod. Changing the BLS ambulance color scheme to all red, and adding 800 or 900 designation to distinguish it from ALS ambulances. Other than cosmetic changes (changing to latest vehicle models, revamping lighting), I don't think there is anything else to add to this Mod. You did a pretty good job the first time around.
  3. Great update. I like the unmarked and slicktop. The tri-lights look awesome. Are you going to re-skin the LAPD SWAT to LASD SEB?
  4. Nice job on those LACoFD engines, FreakinMusket. You probably already know this since you live in CV, but the LASD Crown Vic model needs a little fixing. For the model to be realistic, you would need to eliminate the full directional lightbar in the rear window, the two front lights on the bull bar, and the wrap-around bull bar itself.
  5. Will the unmarked NYPD vehicles be in a separate call button or will they be grouped together with the randomized patrol vehicles?
  6. Yep, that makes perfect sense. Great idea
  7. I love the kojack light that you put on top of the FBI car. It's very distinct. I don't think anyone on this forum has done something like that. Will there be a command to put the light on the roof of the car? Or is it just two separate cars? It looks like that Crown Vic has tons of hidden lights on it. I hope you don't go too overboard with the lights on the FBI unmarked car. Many federal agency cars tend to only have one or a few emergency lights. One little tidbit: In the state of NY emergency vehicles by law must have front facing red (and white) lighting. Federal govt agencies are exempt from this law and can operate red/blue lights. Will the FBI car have blue lights in it or only red and white? Keep up the good work, Dyson and team.
  8. Haven't checked back here for awhile. It's great that the NYC Mod will be a stand alone mod. Keep us updated, and great work on the NY State Police vehicle!
  9. Thank you for responding. I already have installed the LED light packages for a few select units. Is there a method, without using the editor, to make the blue lights more blue?
  10. After reinstalling LA Mod 2.0 because of a screen resolution issue, I noticed that the blue lights on police vehicles don't even or barely flash blue. The lights flash white. I have reinstalled the game a 2nd time, and I have even fiddled with the graphic options, but none of these methods solved the problem. I would appreciate it if someone would tell me how to fix this issue. Thank you for your time.
  11. Great to see another light modder. CFD is known for lighting around this website, but I think he gave up working on realistic CA lights. Glad to see that you're filling in the void. Great job on the EMS units, and I'll be waiting for the rest of the units. I wonder how your lights will compare to CFD's lights.
  12. Nice work on the ambulance. Will there be an installer for any future version of this submod?
  13. I see you fixed the unit numbers on the police cars. Nice screenshots. I like the Christmas tree that you put there.
  14. Did you see Dyson's response to your post? He won't fix the numbers. Sorry about the incorrect response, I was under the impression that he would fix it later on.
  15. Dyson already knows. I mentioned it to him in previous posts. He said he'll fix it later on.
  16. There's going to be two unmarked cars? I see you put a bubblegum light on one of the vics. Nice touch
  17. Not your fault, I should have given you a better picture. Where did you learn to mod?
  18. Wow that was reallyyyy quick. Those are great, but if I may ask you to make some adjustments. LAPD unmarked cars have two led lights where the rearview mirror mount is. Blue on the right and a steady burn red on the left. (The red light stays lit; it does not blink) Picture reference: There are no grille lights. In the rear, both lights are on the left side of the car, whereas yours has two separate lights on each side. Picture reference: I don't know whether or not realism matters to you, but that's how LAPD sets up their lights on unmarked vehicles.
  19. Great work there Dyson. Hoppah and the mod team did a great job with LA Mod; there is pretty much everything. The only suggestions I can come up with are slight changes/additions to the vehicles. The current unmarked car is a generic agency vehicle. Maybe you can make an unmarked that doesn't have a full lightbar in the rear end. LAPD unmarked cars have two small yellow(left side), and blue(right side) LED lights on the left rear shelf. Maybe you can make one just like it. Feel free to take a look. http://www.flickr.com/photos/48552960@N03/
  20. The helicopters look great. Thanks a lot Hoppah.
  21. I find that it's quickest to just do a snatch and grab. Immediately send one patrol car with 2 officers to the lead rioting civilian (w/ the sign), place him under arrest, and then put him in the car. The sooner you do this the less rioters you will have. If you shoot down the lead rioting civilian, his sign will attract more rioters, so it's best to place him under arrest and in the patrol car.
  22. During freeplay, I find that the fires spread too quickly for me. A small fire can rapidly turn into an inferno, even before my first engine arrives on scene. I would like to know how to slow the spread of fire. (I do know how to change the weather conditions and how to increase/decrease the type of calls.) I'm assuming that I have to tweak something in the freeplay parameters, but I am unsure as to where and what exactly to do. Thanks in advance.
  23. Hoppah, would this be K9 unit be part of the additional units mod?
