  1. If you are in cadets (or familiar with them) you'd know how off-putting the cost is (and the people if you're in an annoying division!). Even for adults, SJA just seems to be ruining itself, there are plenty of other places where you can do practically the same job!
  2. Aaaarrrr, you sound like you love doing your work, it also sounds like a great place to volunteer with you guys! Keep up the hard work! How many countries are there in the order of Malta countries? It may be similar to SJA with the Malta side as well because they are both linked in together somehow I believe. Now, I don't know if anyone will agree with me, but St. John seems to be getting worse and worse every year! Cadets is just silly, we have to pay subs every year (£72, for what?), we do not get to do any trips or cross-cadet-championship things (such as cross division work), duties are getting less and less and overall it is getting stupid! It may be my division, but there are so many things that other cadets/members do all across the world, it seems we do next to nothing!
  3. Thank YOU OMAC, The order of Malta Ireland look like a great thing to be involved in! It does have some similarities to SJA, but it seems like it has money, does great work and does more than SJA!!! Cheers for those videos, very interesting
  4. I appreciate your response OMAC, I don't have any questions at the minute, but I won't be shy to ask in future, thanks mate A short seven minute video of the SOS Bus here in Southend: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AeaJc4VJROg
  5. Welcome to the Forum! The OMAC seems like it does the same as SJA, but its good that you are involved in something like that any-road! What do you mean by "OMAC is one of 3 'vollies' in Ireland"? Also have you heard of the SOS Bus and if so is there one in Ireland that you know of; because I am a member of SJA and the SOS Bus here in England and they say that there is a similar (if not, an SOS Bus) type get-up like the SOS Bus in Ireland, but here we are a bit unsure... Regards, Mike
  6. I agree with 'theocd', we will offer assistance where we can I am a leading cadet of the Southend Combined Cadets Division; I also have been offered my SDU free, but that was about July time (last year)! Uniform here is often slow, but this is very annoying! Regards, Michael
  7. I don't mean to sound silly here, but on your fan banner it sais "2012 2013", what does this refer to as it is now 2014? P.S. This mod is still going to be outstanding on completion!!
  8. If anyone can find the COPS episode when they were in London (Season 3, episode 37, I think) and can play it, I would love to hear from you! I really would!

  9. Happy Thanksgiving 2013! :)

  10. My cadets in Southend mainly cover first aid, but if we had enough interest in participating in a parade, then we would teach those the basics of drill before they go out and do it. I don't know how your cadets work there, but we mainly cover first aid there, marching is minimal and not great! We rarely take part in those type of events as uniform is a problem, being the same, what the cadets actually own etc...
  11. Well done theocd! Good work (Thanks for your Thanks ) I am still not 100% sure what the role of an ETA is....... I would imagine that SJA in London is quite busy?!?!?
  12. God luck mate! We have our assessment at the end of December. 'jpedro' - Welcome to the Forum (I see you have two posts!). I also would like to be a special, maybe an ECA or Paramedic as well, that would be great! Both the jobs I love together!!!
  13. Your experiences with the plane crash will definitely be interesting! Taxi drivers are taxi drivers!!
  14. What exactly do ETA's do? Do they respond to shouts as the NHS do?
  15. Thanks, I look forward to this mod, it looks great!!
  16. Sorry if I sound silly, but is this mod released??
  17. Yes, the big pain that is regionalization! There are some differences and similarities around the country, I would say!
  18. If anyone can find the COPS episode when they were in London (Season 3, episode 37, I think) and can play it, I would love to hear from you! I really would!

  19. This mod is apparently either broken or incomplete according to WinRAR!? Help!?
  20. Amazing! Very well done! This mod must have taken a while, but the end product is truly something to be proud of! Very nicely done bama1234
