No problems, I'm not sure if its the right files, but there should be 3 freeplay map files in the rar folder and a readme. Hopefully it works for everyone.

Sorry for the double post, I just tested it to make sure the map patch still works and it does, but the battalion chief still has problems parking but its rare that it will now return to HQ if it can't park. I'll see if I can fix the parking space and then let you all know if you are still interested.

I would like a copy of v1.0 if anyone has it, there was a couple of police vehicles I wanted to add to v1.2 but never did when I had it.

i used the one stan approved on downloads , and i will try the one now on the front page and see if that works see when i go on the game its there but the author says unknown when it should say e34p & scrivs who made this mod when i go to saved games theres nothing there ?

Yeah I noticed that the one on the downloads is something like 10mb smaller then the one on Mega link on the 1st page. Try downloading that one it should work then. I had the game saves and all the info on the mod screen with that one.

beastybill hope you don't mind me asking what software did you use to open up the files when you downloaded the mod ? I'm using winrar and the files dont seem to be all there its just the tutorial ?  

I use WinRar, when you open the WinRar folder there should be the tutorial and a file with the extension .e4mod. You will need to use the mod installer for that once you extract it.

Also which one did you download? As I downloaded it from the Mega link on the 1st page.

OBS (Open Boardcast Software) Its completely free, better then Fraps or some of the others as its not very CPU intensive.

Great mod.

Just got problem with hoseconnecting at the moment.

I need to click 1000 times before i can connect IF i can connect.

But im going to try the tip with only press on the cab of the engine.

The water system is decent even though it runs out a little too fast.

And some more variation on the calls would be perfect.

Yeah clicking on the cab will connect the hose everytime. Saves having to click x amount of times before it works lol

Im running on a PC with 16gb.... and yet I still have the CTD.

Wow and I thought I had alot of ram lol! So its not that then. Weird how some people are getting it and some aren't.

And e34p don't let people get to you about it, some people just need some common courtesy, they wouldn't even have any of the mods that are available now if people like yourself and others didn't put the time and effort in to making them.

What causes the CTD? I've not had that at all. It could be at I have 6gb of ram in my laptop lol

The air ambulance, is there ANYWAY to get it so you can transport victims? Even using the way the default game does it? As its actually a pain to not be able to use it to its full potential. Also how do you set up the turntable? As the install icon is greyed out

@beastybill88 I found that Calling a ARV shooting the vehicle causing the problem usualy the one on the right if you look from the service station and towing it helps for a while just keep checking it to make sure its running

I tired that earlier today and found it worked for a few minutes, then the next car to turn right stopped and clogged everything up again. Oh well at least there is a couple of work around's, although is there a file to reduce the traffic amount like in the LA mod for example?

I could try, not sure what I would have to put into a RAR file for the patch though. The freeroam map file maybe?

EDIT: Ok I have put the 3 files (which I think are for the freeplay map) into a rar folder. Hopefully this will fix the parking and restaffing issues people have been having.

BUT

Please for the love of god back up your files before hand as I will take no responsibility if it messes up the mod or your game.

Montana Mod Map Patch by me.

I downloaded/installed this last night and start to it I got to respond to a medical call. As I was sending the truck back to the station and the ambulance to the hospital/HQ I clicked on the minimap to go to the police units and it crashed to desktop. A suggestion for the SD version is to have SD vehicle not HD ones as that is probably the problem which is causing all the CTD I really want to play this by its not having it, every version of the SD & HD crashes for me.

First off I'm sorry for bumping this topic.

But I just wanted to let everyone know that I found a way of getting the pumper, brush truck and battalion chief to park back at the station and restaff automatically when the alarm is raised. I was tinkering in the editor and it turns out the vehicles where slightly bigger then the blue parking space boxes, so all I did was make the boxes just bigger then the pumper for example and now when the alarm is raised it restaffs by itself and parks properly when sent back to the station

Oh by the way the mod is great Bama, seems to be the most popular of all the mods I have recorded gameplay for on YouTube.

I have been following the  progress of your mod since last year and I downloaded the it last night and after a while of figuring out how to do things (even though I read the tutorial) and tinkering with some of the call settings I had alot of fun I'm very impressed! I think when I called it a night I had played for 156 minutes non stop with no major problems like CTD.

There are a few things though which where getting abit annoying.
 

• The road where the horse stable is, (and where off map emergency vehicles come from) that is always backed up with traffic and I constantly have a traffic unit there redirecting as I can't call off map vehicles when its all backed up I think its the traffic lights at that junction causing it.
• is there any way of getting more police calls? As I don't think I had even 1 pick pocket call in the whole 156 minutes I played it was all fire and medical calls. I've made sure they are turned on in the freeplay settings.
• Some of the medical calls where a victim has fallen in a place where units can't get to them on foot. I had one where someone had a heart attack behind a van and was unable to get help until the van was recovered.
• Also some of the ambulances don't seem to have lightbars... Either that or I am going mad lol.

Overall I am very impressed keep up the great work guys!
