As far as I know its only v1.0 that is done, I don't think there are going to be anymore updates for this mod unless the creators post and say they are.

Sorry guys!  I had the Boston mod topic looked for a while.  I don't have time to work on the Mod right now, maybe in the future. There are other versions out there to play.  I only put the beta version up for a short time.  I am sure other members can upload the mod if you wanted it. Thanks again for your support and understanding Finn. 

That's understandable, I mean real life comes first. For a beta I think its great, hopefully you can get back to it in the future. I'm sure Gunswat said he was going to re-upload it for people... If I read correctly... I dunno its gone 3am and I'm tired lol

In your specs folder there is an XML file called freeplay parameters. You will need to open the file with something like notepad. Near the bottom there are sections for the different times of day, you can edit the amount of traffic driving around by changing the value of this <vehicletraffic factor="2.5"/> I think the higher the number the less traffic... Well that's what happened when I changed it, although I'm not completely sure if you can turn it all off all together though.

Back up your files though incase it doesn't work!

I agree, from what I've seen people tend to get into fights on every other topic in the mods section. How about if you have a problem with someone inbox message them and not clog up peoples topics with childish fighting

Iam new to modding,and did a bit of research about the EMR games.It seems Sixteen tones hasnt seen the Big picture on were this game can go such a big fan base all you have to do is look at You Tube.

So Ive ordered Emergency 2014 from England,and Asking all you Guys Can I still Mod 2014 Emergency or have I wasted my Monies and should of waited to 2015 comes out!!!!!!

They package the Games Different in the two Countries ie USA, England and different games.

Love to hear your thoughts.

As far as I'm aware only emergency 3 & 4 (emergency 4 = 911 first responders in the US) you can mod. But emergency 2012/2013/2014 are not and emergency 5 I don't think there is a release date for it yet.

Its looking great so far, but I agree with you keep it private and do it how YOU WANT TO, not how others want it. Do you think you will have aircraft taxiing around the airport?

guys i play this game for like 5 minutes,and then it just crashes.do u have any ideas?

Where does it crash? There's a know crash spot for some people which is over the north fire station.

The one from the first page, is there any difference between the one in the DL section and the first post?

The one on the DL section is 10mb smaller then the one on the 1st page, some people who have downloaded it from the DL section have had problems with the mod.

It may have already been answered but I can't seem to find it, how do you send a firefighter into the second story of a building? I have a cardiac arrest and have tried using both CARP and TL, but I don't have the install at a building command?

I think this is a known bug, but it hasn't been fixed. Only way I can think of fixing it would be to go into the editor and add the install command to the ladder truck and carp.

Haven't played EM4 for awhile now and I'm struggling to install this, I extracted it into the Mods subfolder, it appears in the game when I go to load it up (in game) it has a green spanner and when I load it up then start a freeplay game it is just the basic vanilla game.

 

Sorry if I'm missing something plainly obvious here

Is it an EM4 file or is it a normal file with all the game data in it? If its the EM4 file you need to install it with the mod installer like Stumpje said. Also which version did you download? The one from the link on the 1st page or from the downloads section?

The delay should work in a new freeplay game, it does for me.

No this mod isn't dead, Its only been 3 weeks since he posted an update. People do have lives outside of this game you know...
