  1. Since no one actually wants to try I am remaking and rebuilding the K9-Mod from EM3. This was still under development so I will finish it.

    The draw weapon, holster weapon and the shoot script have been made compatible with the K9. Don't ask how long this is going to take cus it is going to take some months :)

    Need any help? I am stil lworking on the one for Em4

  2. I believe the biggest factor for the removal was the fact that LAFD only has 3 or 4 water tenders, so it is a very rarely used apparatus. With the removal of the jaws from the Engines, it makes more sense to have a USAR Squad available to provide extraction tools.

    bearing in mind that the water tender used in game is a foam tender in real life.

  3. It's ok. At least you tried and did your best. I haven't tested the script yet, but does this means the script doesn't work at all or do your changes cause crashes?

    I added the lines to the code:

    obj.SetCollisionMode(PHYSICS_COLLISION_ALL);
    obj.HasPhysicCollision;

    But I found that I didn't stop the vehicle and the trailer from colliding after further testing. nAlso I have now discovered that if those lines did work it would cause bugs with the trailer as the trailer's prototype has collison turned off for a reason.

    I will keep looking into it. But I am currently working on a pursuit script to see if I can get that to work.

  5. Maybe 2 ladders?

    Ladder with no trailer(You can buy it when the ladder with trailer is destroyed).

    And the ladder with trailer(Spwan as the game start)

    But it will destroy the trailer with it because the trailer counts as a vehicle. And we all know what happens in emergency 4 when a vehicle explodes right next to another - it catches alight and soon explodes. So how are you going to replace the trailer?

    The only way I can think of doing it is you buy a cab, send it off the map camera boundaries, it connects with a trailer then drives back and parks.

    But I think it is worth letting Hoppah having a say in this because he hasn't even said he is going to do a tiller yet.

  6. Im naive to this, but couldn't you spawn the tiller trailer right behind the tiller cab when the game starts, so all it needs to do is back up to hook up? I don't know how that would effect the parking situation at station 1...

    Its not quite as simple as you think because in order to hook up with the trailer, the cab needs to run a script, and I don't think it is possible to run a script as soon as the vehicle spawns except in mission scripts.

    I have sorted the collision problems with the Trailers in emergency 4.

  8. Hoppah has stated the reason he's kept the extra FF/PM on the RAs is so it is easier to defibrillate people. My issue with this is then three people have to staff the RAs. What if a single EMT or PM could get a stretcher? All they could do is push it around. The second person on the RA would be a regular FF/PM or EMT. When you want to transport the patient you select the single FF/PM or EMT and right click on the PM/EMT with the stretcher. The FF would then join the stretcher team and they could pick up people and heal or stablize them. It would solve that problem of the extra PM/EMT and would be more realistic.

    I like that idea, but scripting it may be an issue.

  9. I reckon Flame-sim should be made into a cheapish game for the gaming communities. Whether that means dumbing down the game just a tad I don't mind. If they could sell it to America and the UK I recokn their company could make quite a big profit from doing so. If they find a good publisher also who can send the game to different countires cheaply that would also be good.
