Hoppah, I was reading on another forum that you know how to add knew animations to the game. For v1.6 would you be able to add a hydraulic platform to the game to replace the arial ladder? Just wondering.

Like the look of the mod, cant wait for it to be released

I am currently making a mod in which there will be changes to the missions. But I will be editing some of the vehicles aswell. So this is what I need to know:

• How to use z-modeler2
  
• How to create skins for the vehicles
  
• How to change the vehicles allowed in a mission
  
• How to create a mission
  
• How to put hydrants of a vehicle
  

Any sort of help will be much obliged as I am a complete beginner in modding.

Do LAFD have water tenders with water cannons on top of them?

Can someone tell me how you rotate the vehicles to see the other side in the Vehicle Editor section of the emergency 3 editor?

Fisrt open the enter car script, check the name that the ambulances have (it starts with hoppah and then some numbers will follow). Then open the editor and load the free play map.

You need to place the fire trucks from the freeplay folder on to the map, not the trucks from the folder fire fighting vehicles. Those are just for the misions. After you've placed them you need to open the propreties screen and fill in the name you found in the enter car script. You can fill in the name next to vehicle name.

In the LA mod for EM3 fire fighters can already connect their hoses to the pump. Select a pumper or a truck and then choose the option 'water tender' Their now will be four or two (depending on the vehicle) points on the vehicle to connect fire hoses.

I have tried doing that, I can't attach the hoses to the fire engines and I dont know why, I choose the option "Enable hose connections" and try to connect a fireman with a hose to the tender but it wont let me

I wanted to get rid of the LAFD ambulances and put two water tenders from the "Freeplay" vehicles section. When I put the freeplay vehicles in, it would let the fire fighters get in it. How do I solve this? What do I need to put in the script?

Also, has anyone tried modifying the script so firefighters can conect their hoses to the pumps like in emergency 4?

you read the question wrong: the question was when EM3 shuts down in freeplay is it during a normal freeplay mission (so you didn't load any mods) or does it happen when you've loaded a mod (e.g. LA MOD)?

If it happens when you've loaded a mod Utrecht is correct: that's a known bug and it happens all the time. It can happen once or twice during the normal game (without loaded mods) but when it happens more often (almos every time) something is wrong with the game.

It happens with the mod on freeplay. And freezes in campaign mode with the mod if I do more than 3 missions. It happens all the time aswell. I haven't tried without the mod. I will try later

Does it happen if you play freeplay during a mod (LA MOD) or during the normal game?

Sorry aout the double post. I didnt think that the computer I was working on uploaded it properly. And yes it happens when I try to reload freeplay if I click - Call off mission, then repeat mission.

When I do freeplay (never-ending game) and I decide to call it off and start again, when I open the never ending game as soon as I get to the loading screen the game shuts down. Also sometimes whe nI open the never-ending game it just doesn't load.

Details:

I have patch 1.01, 1.02 and 1.03 installed.

My game is the UK version.

My computer fits most if not all the requirments.

I have the LA Mod Version 2.5 installed.

This may sound silly to some of you, but I must know how do you make your own mods? Is it difficult or easy to do? Do you have to buy seperate software to make it? Do you have to know any programming scripting to do it?

They say they wont ship to the uk ???

I have tried loads of places. The only ones that will ship 911:FR to the UK are CD Universe and DVD Box office. But they are on "Backorder status" which means it could take upto 2 weeks for the game to be recieved from the supplier and there is no guarantee that you will get the game. I asked CD universe the average delivery time for it to reach the UK. They said: it could reach the delivery address between 11 November - 26 December. This is really annoying. It has been over a year since emrgency 4 was released to Germany and France and 3 months since 911:FR was released to the US.

I have a suggestion for a vehicle. You know thoose highways agency officers/vehicles. Use them as the THW/Police equipment vehicle, so they bring the cones, barricades all that sorta stuff. And the officers could have the ability to call the police or an ambulance. They also could have the ability to stop traffic. And for the fire department, create th hydralic platform ladder.
