  3. actually goog has been able to play it on his lap top with minumal lag as long as you send what you NEED to the call. what I believe is the issue with the Manhattan mod is the hugely insane amount of buildings that are nearly over four stories and tightly packed together thats why you seem to get a lot of CTDs. The Surrey map shouldn't have so many buildings spaced so close together because canada hasn't come to that yet, in some districts they have a bylaw that stats you have to have a min of 7 feet from your building to the edge of your property line on both sides of the building for residental. I am not sure what it is for commerical but I know that they have a almost 10% green space for the size of your lot or something like that. anyhow.... I don't think it will be to bad.

  5. Curious on how you thought we were off topic. It was asked if they would move everything to em5. The replies were about the RC MP mod. So as far as I read we were on topic. (Mods please correct me if I am wrong)
  6. normally when game producers come out with new games they tend to either 1 use different file systems and 2 depending on the size of the mod it can be hard to convert the files over to the new game. It is some times worth it to can the mod and start from the start again. HOW EVER!!!! I do not beieve that CFD and goog would plan on doing this because in till the game hits the shelves there is no for sure thing that the game is going to be relased.
  7. Yea there is. I believe if you go into the prototypes and open the unit in a word doc then find the line that has the unit speed and change it. REMEMBER TO BACK UP YOUR FILES before you proceed.
  8. Okay whoala there pal. You can't put a new role playing game up and expect people to come in droves to it. It just doesn't happen like that. It can take any where from a week to two weeks to get enough people to actually have a good game going (personal experience six is a min to start) Not to mention you don't have an accurate website that shows you what trucks you can staff what the house actually looks like and stuff like that. Kudos for creating something like this and I think that if people got involved it would actually be a good game, unfortantly you just need to.have a bit of patience. If you look around at a lot of role playing games (star trek, star wars (they are a bit rarer) it has taken them years to get where they are with a group. Star trek alone I know of at least two major players that have been around for years. But like I said good job on creating something, you just need to have a bit of.patience

  11. Well this is a bit odd... the only thing I can think of is that your not deleting it properly... are you going into the mod folder highlighting the mod file and just deleting it right there and then?
  12. read and follow this. Remember to back up your files before proceeding!!!!. If anything goes wrong just delete what you have and put in your back up file and restart.. you won't be able to call said ambulance via from the station when you use a battalion officer or the EMS officer.

  14. This is interesting. The reason why everything messing up via cars is because you dl the wrong additional units mod. As to the loading and unloading. Go to your mod file in windows explorer. Click the mod and delete button. That will delete it with no problems. Then just reinstall. I hope this helps. You wrote a book that didn't have any paragraphs.
  15. Curious, I have bolded and am quesitoning you on this. So if I hear you correctly, your idea is to create a script where you can have a command with in the command icons that will either have two FF Paramedics exit the vehicle or Paramedics with Stretcher?

  17. Hmmmm okay... download a new version of LA Mod and then copy and 1.9.3 into it... it should work. I just did it last night and didn't have any problems what so ever.
  18. I don't know really what the problem is... for a beta it is actually pretty well. Plus a few of the things that i have noticed are probably fixable in the editor ie return to station comands and the such. I really enjoy playing this mod.
  19. Hey man what were u planning on using for a mcu unit. BCAS uses an ambulance with barriers. They then make a funnel to waiting ambulances that are green, yellow and red. So... Uh yea

  21. Uh you mean there is a reserve regiment in new west. There is NO Canadian Army base in BC. There is a area support unit. That is in chilawck. A navy base in Esquimalt, and a air force base in Comox. Get your facts. We have already been over this.
  22. Yes, we do lol. Our ex deputy chief wanted a low profile truck. So it is very low pro file. It wasn't sure about it before. But it grew on me. It's sick.
