    Yes but its unrealistic, I used Nicco's f series, however it should be an E series, but regardless here it is.

    Eh? I dunno what you mean, but basically I'm new to modding, so i decided to redo all the crown vics in LA and then xplorer showed interest so they might be used in his submod, then ive posted some NYPD ones as part of a submod I'm doing :)

    As for variety, I've done, CHP, LAPD regular, K9, LASD. :D

    All of these ideas are splittingg up into mods now :) the LA ideas to Xplorer as part of his sub mod, NY units to be released aspart of my own sub mod and a few private mods people have requested. :) Thanks for your comments and please support me in my first mod :).

  8. Manhattan Modification General Topic

    Thankyou for visiting the official topic of the Manhattan Modification.

    This modification will be 3 years old in August, and has seen the release of Version 1 and Version 2

    Version 3.0.0 has now begun development, we would now like to show progress on the development of the mod.

    All models and textures have been extensively improved since the previous version, with a completely new map, new area,

    new rigs, and much more..

    All info from v2 removed see www.manhattan-mod.org for version 2 screenshots.

    What's new?

    We've once again revamped the units, adding details and in some cases re-modeling the unit.

    We're also adding some new units such as Hazmat 1

    A new hose connection script means hoses no connect to the front rear and sides of Engines and Squads, hooking up differently depending on the rig, e.g Marauder II's are different.

    We've also gone through and re-lit all the rigs, which is still a work in progress.

    What else we're looking into

    We are trying our upmost to finally include limited water supply, we'll keep you updated on this.

    Another idea we want to introduce is the ability to hook ladders up to any building, possibly assisting with venting, this would improve the aesthetic on scene.

    Not your fault, I should have given you a better picture. Where did you learn to mod?

    To skin? I didnt I taught myself to use photoshop after my IT teacher moved me into bottom set and the work waslike, make a picture on paint, so i was like f*** this! :D but yeah just give me 2 mins im skinning for some guy atm

    The helicopter will be fun :) yeah should be ok I'll report back with some screens soon :) it is 3 in the morning here though so if not finished within a few hours it will by tomorrow :D

    And I'm going to use Nicco's crown vic, its on this site just search it and rename all the files from "crown_door01" to "cv_lapd_door01" etc and then i'll send you the skin file paste it in and it should work :)

    Hard because of the rarity of the PD but i've managed a rough one, not one of my best so sorry man but heres the crown, others in prog :)

    Wow that was reallyyyy quick. Those are great, but if I may ask you to make some adjustments.

    LAPD unmarked cars have two led lights where the rearview mirror mount is. Blue on the right and a steady burn red on the left. (The red light stays lit; it does not blink) Picture reference: 20091114-LAPD-SWAT-CV-012

    There are no grille lights.

    In the rear, both lights are on the left side of the car, whereas yours has two separate lights on each side.

    I don't know whether or not realism matters to you, but that's how LAPD sets up their lights on unmarked vehicles.

    My bad i misinterpreted this picture IMG_8416 haha thought it was oneon each side, yeah i can fix that no worries 5 mins :)

    Here are the pics of what I am referring to and the Helicoptor pic is something I was wondering if you could reskin the helicoptor in the game to look like the pic below. Also on the police car you will see our symbol on the door if able to try to use that symbol as well. If not let me know. The vehicles that they use here are regular crown vic's. If you have any questions please let me know.

    Great work there Dyson. Hoppah and the mod team did a great job with LA Mod; there is pretty much everything.

    The only suggestions I can come up with are slight changes/additions to the vehicles. The current unmarked car is a generic agency vehicle. Maybe you can make an unmarked that doesn't have a full lightbar in the rear end. LAPD unmarked cars have two small yellow(left side), and blue(right side) LED lights on the left rear shelf.

    I have seen some CHP cars with the new lightbar. Maybe you can make one just like it.

    Bookmarked ;) and so what your saying is you just want two leds in the rear window and no other rear lights? I can do that :)

    I had to skin an interior onto each window so you could see the headrests through the rear window, and then attatched to them are 2 LED lightbars, that what you ment? :D

    I like all of your mods, I know most of them are just upgrades to the textures but I'd like to have them. If you can get permission, these would be pretty good.

    Ah cheers, well doubt I'd get permission for this else I would :( but heres a bit of eye candy :D
