  1. I wasn't pushing for a new unit/paint scheme, was just keeping the forum updated on changes I've noticed around. Of course now that I've presented it, there goes another delay in release :holdglass: just teasing cause I can. When it comes out (when you're ready) gonna be first in line.

On a slightly off topic note, for anyone who remembers my game issues before (couldn't load it period), the problem has now been solved, and the game loads and plays. YAY!

    Cheerio

  2. I believe that Goog has said he's only going with the CV's for each of the services. They went through a little while ago and started removing some of the excess units from their mod, because they were bloating it, so I don't think they're going to add any other ones in. Though I do like the look of some of those cruisers. The Port Moody charger reminds me of the OPP chargers

  3. The Taurus has started to make a showing with Ontario forces. The OPP has atleast one for trial (as well as as 2013 charger, and a interceptor utility), Guelph, Hamilton, St. Thomas and Waterloo Regional, all have them as general duty cruisers, with a utility being used by guelph as a canine unit. That's 4 that I could find just by quickly searching. It's probably only a matter of time before the BC services begin to pick them up for either trials or full use.

  4. Fair responses on your part. I don't think my computer would have liked the sqaumish units, they're a bit overdone imho. Which is actually something I've noticed with RCMP units, they tend to be very light heavy. The problem you start to run into, is instead of driving people away, the lights can actually cause people to fixate, and steer into them, causing further traffic accidents/issues.

  5. Could banner flying supporters still get the vehicles?

I mean... I know the vehicles are obsolete and are taken out of service, but I'd still like to get the chance to play with them when the mod is finally released. You guys put the work into them, So why not let someone still enjoy them? Just my two cents.

I think you guys did some amazing work on the new trucks, but also on the original Ford Excursion models. I agree with Hawksby, I'd still like to play with the ERT Excursions, since you put so much work into it. My opinion, ultimately you guys made the stuff, so your choice whether or not to release stuff to anybody.

  6. The better place to post this, would be in the alterations section. This is a section for submods that have been developed/are in the process of being developed. You're asking how to alter the game, which is a different section. People there should be able to help. There are also tutorials/topics in that section about what you're asking

  7. Cool, I like the idea of a tactical medic.

Please look at the dates before you post like this. The last post was June 2011, and the one before that was myself in March 2011. Considering the creator last commented at the same time, I'm going to guess that this topic is dead. Please take note of what others have been told, and stop reviving topics that have been dead that long. It spams the boards for nobody's gain. We appreciate you liking what others have done, but if they're not discussing it anymore, it isn't worth bringing up again for everyone to see.

    Thanks

  8. It's what BCAS decided to go with. A fair number of services use pushbars on their trucks. Unlike the police who mount them for actual use as a pushbar, most EMS tend to use them as a place to mount the lighting, eliminating the need to cut holes in the fenders to put stuff in, increasing the resale value, because they can just pull the bar and lights off, and the truck is basically ready to be sold at auction.

  9. Completely unrelated for the moment. Just wanted to share that OPP has rolled out their new 2012 Dodge Chargers and 2012 Ford Interceptors, both with new updated secondary lighting (primary being their arjent light bars). Thought it neat to note.

As for the work you guys do, awesome as always. Don't see to many cruisers in ontario with hot foots on them, so it's neat to see them being modelled onto the cruisers you guys are making, to make them more realistic to what they offer.

  10. I like the looks of both of the new pick ups, was actually hoping someone would put something like that out for us to play with. 2 small issues I see with the trucks, the rear tailgate as hummer1197 mentioned, but also the 2006's didn't have the "superduty" stamp across the back gate, it was introduced on the 2008- models. Other than those small issues, I really like the looks of the trucks you have.

  11. I've only seen one ambulance service in Ontario using those, and they had it using the sprinter chasis with a box on the back like current Type III trucks. Otherwise I've only seen them used by transfer services. What I've heard, is that MOH in Ontario or someone along those lines has said that Type II (raised roof van) are not to be used and instead we will use Type III (box on a van chasis) and Type I in northern, more remote areas (box on a pickup truck or truck chasis). The only service with a true Type II Demer is Toronto EMS, for use on the Toronto Island, I'm guessing based on its size and weight for the bridges and roadways on the island.

Goog, nice looking unit, I just personally am more a fan of the full sized Demers or Crestline trucks.
