  1. If you have xfire or teamspeak hit me up. my xfire is helljumper51. I created POV's for my private mod. i can walk you through it.
  2. All you got to do is create a new prototype in fire, ems, etc and Label is FirePOV1 or something. then choose the model file of a car you like in the civil folder, and assign it commands and BAM. you have a pov. Dont forget to make a "Units" folder for it, specifically an xml file.

  4. Hey All, I was bored last night and I decided to make a map texture. It was supposed to be small but I got carried away. This is supposed to be a Small town with outlying suburbs and wooded areas. The southern area is mostly going to be forest with a few houses This is my first one so be kind!
  5. I made a texture and imported it. My question is how do I define the edges of the map I want? Becuase when I imported the texture, it doubled over when it hit the edge of the texture I made and continued on.

Also I would like a few Ideas on different types of POV's I can model for it along with lights for responding to station

  8. We are opening a Squad 55 Member Beta tomorrow! so if you want to play the mod or join S55 but never had a reason, now is the time!
  9. but the skin is being applied to a surface on a model. even if the skin is transparent I dont know if it will make the actual model transparent. what program do you use?
  10. becuase in the game its not the actual skion that makes them transparent. to my knowledge it requires a change in modeling.

    Very good models! I like the Interior on the Engines. If your interested I am working on making a script where when there are personell in the engine, it shows people sitting int he seats, and then the model changes when no one is in it. If you want a copt let me know and I will keep you updated.
  12. Sorry for not having alot of updates....we are having..issues...with the mod team at this time. I will be working with zombie personally to correct the issue.
  13. Ok so I know it has been discussed before, but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to do it. I was thinking of creating the actual rotator as a child object and then in a script tell it to rotate around an axis(y axis I would assume) Anyone have any ideas if it would work?

  18. if you are using hoppah's scripts, check his "replace vehicle at station" thread. should be what you are looking for.
  19. A tip for the fire station scripts..... You need a min of 3 things. Model/prototype, a To virtual object, and a Virtual Object for the prototype. Basically the script says this: Check to see if the VO is empty Send the vehicle to the "To" VO Once vehicle is at the "To" VO, has it go to the VO assigned to the vehicle.
  20. Waiting on the new map to do ingame. Alot of the stuff we are doing is hush hush atm because we want it to be private and I dont feel like being bothered by everyone for the brand new scripts I made for midmounts and hose connections on fire trucks.
