Awesome, its stuff like that we are looking for :)

I cant promise that every idea will be used, but we will try to use as many as possible :)

Does anybody else have ideas?

Mhm...some random ideas, don't know if even possible to realize, but if you get my explanations you maybe will get which scripts I mean (many of them are currently available) :)

-Command "Ask question" used as frisk: the Police Officer talks/searches the person for weapons, or drugs, if any the person needs to get arrested.

-Backup requests: an ambulance/police car spawned in the map(not controlled by the player) requires your assistance, for example a medic-car or other patrol cars to reinforce the personnel. (winterberg mod has a similar script "RTW needs assistance" or something like that)

-Attempted suicide barricated with gas: you have to arrest the person in the building (like in situation with hostages) without shooting a single bullet, otherwise you trigger an explosion that blows the suicide person and your crew.

-Robbery: some thieves blew an ATM machine or an external cash safe to get the money, you have to reach the bank/atm machine to secure it (extinguishing fires, securing the people etc) and follow the car/van in which the thieves are escaping through the city before they can leave the town.

-calls without location: you have to look for the patient in a big crowd of people WITHOUT MAP MARK (for example in a crowded square or market etc) in order to safely bring him to the ambulance.

We would like to have some surgestions for new freeplay events

A few idea Ive got have already been mentioned, but I'll add a few more in :)

- Road accidents with no persons trapped or injured, just to wash down the road and make the car safe (disconnect battery etc...)

- People locked inside/outside of house

- Carbon Monoxide alarm actuating

- Range of medical emergencies - cardiac arrests, psychiatric patients, seizures, burns, back pains, head ache, chest pains, diabetic problems, nosebleeds etc... just to add to the variety of the medical calls!

- is there a hospital on the new freeplay map? If so a new call could be a hospital transfer... or a doctors call to transfer patient from nusing home/home address into hospital

- Discharge patients on scene who dont require hospital treatment / Calls to "man laying on the ground" which turn out to be just a tramp sleeping

- Single room fires instead of an entire apartment block on fire! (how often does that happen)

- Ambulance crews able to take patients to the ambulance in chair rather than stretcher all the time

Also I LOVE the spine board idea! Would it be possible to stabilise vehicles involved in road accidents with blocks - http://www.flickr.com/photos/traumahawk/8136222518/

Considering you seem to take care of the Medical calls (my favourite ones) you can improve them simply by:

1-allowing more than 1 paramedic/medic on the patient, as I've seen in the video, before the spineboard application.

2-considering various "hp points range",I wish to see dead or nearly dead patients you must try to reanimate (noone ever dies in my freeplay but sadly reality is not like that)

3-Allowing the player to choose wich equipment the crew takes from the ambulance (High Visibility/heavy gear, defibrillator, stretcher, chair, bag etc) LIKE A FIRETRUCK in wich you can choose multiple items such jaws of life chainswaw etc EVEN IF NOT NECESSARY.. i mean maybe you always have to take the bag to evaluate the patient but if you don't take the chair nothing happens you can always finish your mission like in the normal freeplay

what about a script when you can get fire crews in causal gear and change in the engine on the way scene and then get out of the engine and get the equipment you need for that call ei jaws of life for rtc or breathing ap and hoses for a fire i know that is hard to script but just a thought

Love many of the suggestions already posted.

Overdose by narcotics is "a pretty usual" callout for ambulances in major cities like Copenhagen. Also i love the suggestion about the false callouts for both ambulance and fire rescue (and maby even police). Would be cool to see fights involving more than 1 aggressor and even inside buildings aswell. And more than one burglar at the same crimescene, maby also with a getaway vehicle.

For the fire rescue, it would be cool to see callouts like a fallen elevator whre you wold have to free the persons before the medics can treat them, even fallen trees (or windmills?) or persons trapped underneath cars, or trains, or even a car trapped underneath a lorry.

Also what i'm missing is the ability for paramedics to dress up with helmets ( maybe something like in the LA-mod, when the character changes from normal firefighter to SCBA-firefighter) like they would in any hazard situation. Finaly something i guess would be hard to accomplish, Police-motorbikes escorting ambulances, like i have seen they do in denmark.

Every body, once again, great ideas!

We will defeantly look at them and try to make as many of them af possible :)

But we could use some help making new models for houses, could anybody be interested?

you can make it so you can set the police car to drive in front of or behind a amblance, prisontransport, or other cars who needs security, like a ambulance escort (a man has bin shoot he needs to get to he hospital but there is a risk of some one wants to kill him on the trip to the hospital, or mayby a prisoner is going to be transported over form one end of the map to the other end of the map and then you have to help getting the prisontransport safely through your map and mayby there happens some kind of thing and mayby not.

that would be cool :cool::laugh:

and drunk driveing calls or just drunk people calls for the police and the ambulance service :cheers-mate:

Not sure if anybody mentioned it before, Too lazy to go read through topic :P but when met police999 mentioned German forum I remembered that lots of german mods have some predefined alarming scrpits (not sure how should I name it). For instance, "small fire" that alarms police car and fire truck, "big fire" that calls police car, fire truck, fire chief, ambulance, techical rescue that calls equipment truck, police car and ambulance, and so on...

Also Including some missions that demand the use of ledder truck. They always seem rather useless to me. Maybe it could be used for evacuating people from burning house or something...

no, i know it is not ambulances that run personal transport, but it is part of Falck, and copenhagen rescue dept. therefore i think it shoild be part of copengagen mod. i think it will makes a lot more realism to the perfect mod. and personal transport is also a kind of "emergency" heh :-)

Falck also takes care of auto transport, damage control and tons of other non emergency related stuff :)

Adding person transport will just be the same as driving taxi, and that is not really the purpose of the game :)

The only difference between taxis and person transport is that the people using the people transport is either sick or old :)

So it wont make much purpose in the game :)
