But unfortuantly, no matter what I do, I can't seem to get it to work. Its driving me mad! MikeyPI Posted July 19, 2011 Report Share Posted July 19, 2011 If the map uses the default structure for sending new vehicles onto the map (IE like original) and so does the mod it should work... IF the mod has custom fire stations/police departments etc on it, then simply switching one map from one mod to another will not work. The virtual Objects and placement of them will not match and the scripts the mod uses will not be able to correctly load. A mod that is 100% the same as the original game can take an original map fine, but a mod with custom scripts that rely on things being on the map to work can't just take any old map, the modification most often will simply crash to the desktop.
