Scaling Help

Recommended Posts

Load both models in Zmod Select the Nicco Vic objects (Stay in obj mode) Depress space bar or press "selected mode" at the bottom, either manually (which is a dangerous way to do it because proportions of the two models do not match what so ever) Or alternatively, use the CTRL button depressed + scale and you will get a pop-up with % for each AXIS XYZ... Simply pick ONE scaling point which you wish to meet, IE height or width, and ensure you move ALL others the same scale difference X 80 Y 80 Z 80...

X=Width

Y=Height

Z=Length

I suggest you use width or height as your scaling reference to attempt to make them similar, if you attempt to match the LA mod orig vic 1/1 the scaling proportions of the Nicco vic will be lost, very rarely are two models 1/1 Identical in scaling proportions, so go with which scale matters most to you.

Just make sure their "centerlines" are roughly even so that when you hit the right scale the two cars should look fairly close to being one model. If you make a boo boo and go too far on a scale change, you can either push it back up or my prefered method CTRL+Z and reattempt from 100%
