Does anyone use Google Sketchup to model vehicles for EM4?

Right,

So I would like to be a bit more self-reliant when modding with EM4 - so I am currently learning how to create 3D models.

My program of choice has been Google Sketchup. Problem being I have been doing it this way:

I have never seen anyone use this method before - has anyone tried to use it? (The methods seem to be incredibly mixed).

As far as I know, people do use sketchup, BUT, you need to export as a 3ds then import into zmodeler2 and reskina nd all that fun stuff most times, then export as a v3o compared to just doing it all in zmod.
