would it be possible to edit the limited water script so the fire engines refill when they are in the fire station or put a hydrant at the fire station so i can move the fire engines round the back and fill them up after a call and then send them back to the fire station
There actually is a hydrant at the firestation...
It is located right in front next to the bay doors.

Congratulations Bama and Itchboy you have overdone yourself.
I love Montana 2.0. While playing it gives me a rural feeling and for beta the gameplay is very smooth.
As of yet my favorite vehicle is the BCFD Tanker. This beauty is a real beast!
I fixed most of the little issues other people reported myself.
For example the traffic jam at the intersection by moving the car rental building a little bit away from street.
Or the missing minimap by implementing it, because it confused me a lot and I wanted to have an overlook over your masterpiece called Monida Pass.
Two problems I ran into:
First thing I noticed regarding the rescue helicopter is that if you call it, it won’t spawn on the map maybe the spawnpoint is missing.
Second is the laddertruck neither extinguish nor cool any object. Tried my best by moving it to different locations and attaching/detaching watersupply but had no luck. I’ll keep trying.
I am sure this will be fixed in the upcoming patch anyway.
If I get any CTDs in the future I will fill out the bugreport and send it to you. My guess is that the more information your get, the more can be fixed.

It's painted like that because it's set up as if that were the paint scheme when the town purchased it. If you look closely you will understand..... No I'm not changing it just for you.

That's another thing I like about this project. You don't just put vehicles on the map but you have a story in mind for each of them.

I'm following this project on facebook for a while now.
Your concet sounds well-considered, the media you show is great and makes me exited on the release.
Personally I would like to see the Mack Engine in same paintsheme as all other Mayberry on map fireappatuses but that choice is up to you.

I really enjoy playing your modification. Also I had no problems with the zip issue.
Your skin quality is on a high level and the map adjustments give the gameplay a fresh touch.
Hopefully you have plans to add the WaterSupplyScript. I successfully implemented it in the LA Mod but had problems with the flare and cone script afterwards.
One little thing I noticied regarding the top right firestation is everytime I send the Engine and/or the Brush somewhere, they first drive in the back of their yard where their parkinglot is.

Somebody threatened the project leader with violence by calling him on his cellphone. Because of that all public actoins and the release on the 12.24.2013 are canceled for an unknown timeframe.

Hi Hereweard Fyning,can you tell me what you have exactly changed in the LA Mod files.I tried implementing the script twice with no success although I followed Hoppah's guide. It crashes right after the loading finishes.Problem solved! I implemented Hoppah's script succesfully into the LA Modification. The brush patrol works as a water tanker and the foam tender works as a TLF with a deck gun.
Problems now are that I can't pickup traffic cones, flares, barricades etc. anymore. Propably because I use the wye and extend hose logic. Maybe someone can help me here.
Next goal is to make the watercannons on the engines work. I'll have a look Hereweard Fynings tutorial and hopefully I can make it work.

It only works if you copy the 3.2 SD update in your 3.0 SD folder and replace all the files. It's not a standalone update
First bug I have noticed is that the trafficlights are buggy. Cars can't pass the intercection and get stuck.
if you don't block the traffic in the top left corner, your emergency vehicles won't spawn because of the trafficjam.
Second is that engine 7 can't return to quaters.
besides that it's a really smooth and enjoyable gameplay.
I'll keep my eyes open.

For what I know Surrey Fire Service maintains a couple of Quint trucks so will there be a functional Quint unit ingame, too?
I don't know if this is even possible with emergency 4's code structure and I totaly understand if you dont want to spoiler anything.
It was just a question that came in my mind.

Hello I've a little question.
How do i rappel down a paramedic form the rescue helicopter like you would rappel an engineer?
I also got the rappel down script from the Blackhawk working but thats's not what I wanted.

Thanks jsutton for the little hint you gave me. I took crsmedic's script and an old one by Shane Green I guess and compared them to my version. During this process I found the mistake I made.
I was so motivate that after that I also did some minor changes in the staffing for example added scubagear to the BSL Engines ( see first page of this tread) etc.
All files are fully campatible with LA MOd 2.1. I will attach them so you can use them.
I also made a second Version where I replaced the Abulance in FS2 with the Heavy Equipment Squad. Be sure to add the GoToFirestation command to the vehicle in the Editor if you use this version.

Okey, so far so good....
I managed to get the Hazmat replaced with the Arial Ladder. When the game starts everything worked properly.
The truck spawns in the right position and with the right personal but when I tried to send the truck back to the firestation
it says: "no place at firestation[...]" allthough the bay at FS2 is empty.
My question is how do I have to manage/change the scriptsfiles that the Arial Ladder returns to FS2?
I would appreciate any help thanks.

Place your apparatuses wisely and you will never have any issues with water supply. Don’t have any hydrants nearby? Use only one hose line to extend time the tanker needs to arrive. Have a brush fire? Use chainsaws and fire extinguishers to stop the fire from spreading. Cool object nearby... Guys, be creative and strategic this is a real time strategy game.
A perfect example what makes this mod unique:
I personally never have any big problems fighting fires and with the patch and the gated wye and extend hose script working it will be another step easier.
There is a good balance between challenge and fun and I really enjoy playing this modification.
