Good news guys - I fixed the siren bug. However, I am not posting any file or instructions on how to fix it until I get approval from rihis! I have already sent him a PM!

I have some trouble with the siren on the ambulances, get error that statement is to long.

And the ambulances have trouble getting parking in the garage in the big fire station on never ending game

They park in front, the back and some times inside.

I just love the 89 caprice, have been waiting a long time for this car to come to this game. really nice mode.

For my private use, I have changed the flash pattern on some of the cars, and added some to one.

I got the same error statement only with several others as well... =(

I have it and I'm loving the police/fire/ems mods for it!

the version 1.7.1 doesn't fix problem with sirens on detective chevrolet caprice

It didn't with mine either! Perhaps it has something to do with the Sixteen Tons/Wizard Works version differences?

Ps2: I want to transform this submod to standalone mod so im working on it. but i need rihis'S permission and permission of hoppah (his wheels and persons etc...)

EDIT:

Transform failed - this contains a more than 20 bugs like - missing wheels, missing prototypes, no personal inside, bad unit files, when you send any car it shutdown, missing language, missing sirens and much more... so i stopped it. If you want to continue my work rihis i can send you the files... i fix several bugs but still it's bugged

It might be a script and/or placement problem...

P.S.: I hope that Rihis fixes the brown Caprice siren problem and the missing ambulance prototype soon because I can't wait to fire that baby up!

Oh and I also noticed that in the editor, the flashing light glares for the CHP Diplomat (the one with the two red strobes/beacons) are blue when they should be red? Anyone else having this problem?

Same, and when I try to make the CHP cars do anything the game crashes. :l

Mine doesn't crash the game but it still doesn't have any lights! I even tried fixing them too but with no luck...

Someone had a PC version of Midtown Madness 3 (his name was not mentioned for privacy reasons), but at the time it was an extremely early alpha version, meaning that he could not release any screenshots or information...

The game is meh....ok I guess. I love daytime driving and the brilliant map screen. I'm also glad they kept in things like rage and two wheel driving - really fun on the freeway

Pulling away from cops is awesome too. It's such a cool idea. Customising cars is cool, especially if you make them into iconic cars

Few things ruin it for me though:

1) A lot of the races are extremly difficult - you tend to finish only by the skin of your teeth. And the power ups are useless.

2) "Three L.A cruisers on my tail! Let's up the game!....Oh, where'd they go?" I did a test and found police can't keep up if you go over 90m.p.h This is a big letdown.

3) Sometimes all you want to do is cruise around L.A and look at the pretty sights. But that always gets interrupts by phone requests to race or remind you to do missions. It's annoying.

Currently working towards completing my license to get the Audi. Might buy a set of car pack from PSN - need to be careful as one gas the Audi in it.

I have to admire the game's difficulty when you start financially wise. I really had to work hard to pay for car custmposiation and better rides.

Interesting opinions - I agree - it was kind of difficult at the beginning and is still somewhat difficult... =( BTW, what is your PSN ID?
