    A few more:

    1. There is one module that you can't pick up.

    2. You can't unload the digger.

    3. The hose laying truck doesn't carry any hoses.

    i am gonna put the pods in the menu to call out from base. the pod u cant pic up. u will be uble to load and unload once it is added to the menu.

    the digger, at the moment is just for show, (need scripter)

    i will have a look at that now, but it is mainly for show as it is not possible to lay hoses. i will see why the model aint carrying hoses.

  2. Very nice mod! :12:

    Some of the bugs need to be fixed but once they are it will be great.

    Some of my major ones:

    1. Fire engines get damaged way to easily

    2. Medic copter won't land

    3. A lot of the buttons are not in English (I guess German).

    4. There is not all the units in freeplay that are in campaign. E.G. the fire chief car and pinzgauer.

    And a suggestion: If you send a module unit back to base the module re-appears in the position it starts in.

    i am in process of sortign the fire engines damage out

    i dont know how to sort the medic helicopter out

    buttons in german are already fixed (not uploaded yet)

    there is some units that are not in game yet ur quite right. i am adding the pinzgauer today. the fire car not sute if that is being added yet as it will just have normal fire man in with no commends.

    the campaigns in the mod are nothing to do with me and will not be in the next release. it was part of the branswieg mod, but seeing as they appear not to be a team anymore and i was advised not to use thier map, those files have got mixed up.

    and as for the module unit well that would be fantastic if it would reappear in the start possition. but once again i dont know how to do it. i know it is script related. i have posted a fair amount of requests for a scripter to help, but so far nothing.

    if there is any scripters out there who can help me with my mod then please contact me. as u see this is a good mod and can only get better with some scripts

    think i have found a bug in the materials...

    (for fire trucks) even when parked about 20/30feet away they still catch fire.

    thanks for letting us know. at the moment i cant do anythng about it, as i aint sure how to change it. i think it is just to do with radiated heat, big fires do give off a lot of heat.

    But i have got a problem when i do a mission the police officer appears like a box that says missing modelfile and it's mixed with the mod of brawnschwig or something like that?

    hi yes ur r correct it was originally the braunshweig 2.5 mod. i have tried to contact them with out sucess, so the map has been changed, as for the missions, there is no missions in this mod. this is just a freeplay map. what u are getting is the bransweig missions.

    i am in the process of changing basic mod structure files over to a new mod. i have got permission to use the map and basic mod structure from the czech republic mod. so the problem with missions should be sorted out very soon.

    hi i have checked the download link and it works

    6 people have downloaded it and someone has even reported bugs, so i know it works, as for posting it on the down load section, i will when it is bug free.

    Bugs 1: Foam unit is missing model file

    Bug 2: No automatic siren (unless you purposefully disabled it)

    hi, thanks for letting me know about these bugs, i deleted the foam model file by accident, (trying to make file smaller)

    i will upload the file for all to download very soon, and once the bugs have all been fixed i will re upload the whole mod.

    as for the automatic siren, it is ment to be disabled lol i personally fine it a pain in the bum.

    and buttons in german, i will look in to how to translate and will hopefully have them sorted for next upload.

  7. here it is the mod can now be downloaded, there may be a few small problems, it aint been tested for very long, and has only been tested by me and 1 other person. the download link can be found in the 1st post on this thread.

    i would like to say a big thanks to the people who have helped me along the way from the very start, and who also continue to help me( you know who u are) :)

    also i would like to say a big thanks to heavy (czech republic team) for the kind donation of the map. this was the main thing i was missing.

    if anyone finds any bugs please post here, if anyone has any suggestions for version 1.0 then please post here, provided they are within my limited skills i should be able to do.

    i am going to release the essex mod at 22:00 (GMT) this is provided that the mod testers are done testing for bugs

    i should be ready to release this mod in the next few days. i have managed to over come a couple of problems with adding units. there is still 1 problem left to overcome. once this is done i will be able to release a beta version of the mod.

    are new to the forum :)

    Help me how do I install the mod for Emergency 4, and the first time that I do. :blush:

    welcome to the forums

    1st of all i assume u have a mod downloaded? if not there is a fair amount in the download section of this site.

    the way i install them and am sure it is the may most people install them is, once the mod is downloaded, there should in most cases be a .rar (zipped up) file. you will need to download a rogram call winrar. it is free just do a wed search.

    once u have this program, simply open the .rar file and the should be a mod file inside with a readme file and sometimes a screen shot. double click the mod file and this should automatically install.

    if it dont install then go to the start button (bottom left) and go to all programs and look for the folder where the game is install, there should be a mod installer program there.

    open that and then click install mod, point it to the location where the mod u want to install and that should work

  11. Very nice mod! Although I can't imagine the police would close the entire road off (or even just that side of the road) unless someone died there ..

    i did close my road off out of cam shot.

    in real life if this happened like that, the police would close off roads, and there would be far more hose than that running to dyrants and stuff, the road would be closed to protect personel in the road, also when the aerial ladder is deployed they have to close any road because od the amount of room it needs.

  12. here is a fire scene i took a picture of, it is a large fire and DHL Container Services.

    there is 6 fire pumps, 2 aerial ladder platforms, 1 water bowser, 1 bulk foam lorry, 1 rescue tender, 1 control unit (with support pump). and a welfare pod

    i used a total of 14 hose jets, 8 breathing apperatus, 4 ground monitors and 2 earial ladder platforms.

    half the yard was distroyed but crews managed to prevent the fire spreading.

  13. hi all, i am getting close to releasing a beta version of the "Essex Mod". however, i am in urgent need of a map to use, it must have stations with a return to base script.

    would any mod creators give permisson for me to edit their map and basic structure? i would if course credit that team in the read me files and put links to their mod / website on our mod website.

    failing this, is there any mod creators that are able to help us with a map with return to base script and at the start of the mod all units appear on the screen with the men already in them?

    also urgently required a scripter who can help us .

    i have been back to where i got the volvo from and they have given general permission for all to use. i have also been given permission for the use of the mondeo some months ago and today was given permission from bennie900 for use for the bmw touring car

    so i am now able to show the police cars in the mod so car

  15. Why don't you ask on the forum you downloaded it from?

    You will probably be able to use it as long as you put the creators name in the readme.

    it is in german i believe and i am no good at tracking down the creators and stuff like that.

    in the info in the pack for the auther all it says is siehe Forum.

    The police cars in the pic look really good. Why haven't you shown us them yet?

    because i did not make the models, i only made the skins for the cars, i cant make cars lol

    i do have permission to use 1 of them, (mondeo) but the other is downloaded from the xmas speziel2009 downloaded from emergency 4 fan forum.

    not sure as to weather or not i am able to use that in a public mod or not. it is a car pack that is downloadable.

  17. I notice on this and on the image of the appliance on page 1 that they seem to be missing detail on the ladder etc.

    Why is that? (FYI; I know nothing about modding)

    i aint too sure myself, i think when i made the ladders i used the same color for the whole lot, so it just appears as i mass, i will be changing it soon and will be remaking the ladders.

  18. just a small update i have got the 2nd station into the game and have taken a screen shot of them turning out on a call.

    also after speaking to bazz (southend-on-sea mod) we have decided it might be good to team up.

    Are you just working on Fire stuff at the moment?

    i have a vast amount of fire engines already made and a couple of polic cars, from other mods, that i have reskinned.

    so at the moment i am working on buildings, and might attempt to do a police station later today.
