The last 7th I can remember was a Brooklyn Apartment building which was hit by lightning. That was during the summer so it wasn't cold as shit and everything wasn't covered in ice and It wasn't a hell of a lot of Paper records. In this case, there was also Marine 6 there and I'm sure plenty of thawing units. (I know I'm jumping around a lot but, whatever) A pub down the street was allowing the members to come in and warm up and have a cup of coffee. There have been some pretty amazing photos around mainly showing helmets and gear caked in Ice.

Is the tanker going to have different lights?

 

Unless I find something very wrong with those lights... no. Mind my asking why you mention that? (Since I did them)

My department has a few of those ^ with a decent amounts of lights on it, but by far the most badass cop car is :

 

Owned by the Port Authority PD. They also have AARF rigs at JFK and LGA.

Looks like a submod of River Falls... Same units etc... If you guys still have the units from the previous work why not just stick with those? They were fine in my opinion... But it's your mod.

 

I was actually thinking of making that seagrave a spare...same with the heavy rescue. We will see how it goes when the new rigs are put IG.

I checked the downloads page of this site for the latest patching of EM4. However, there is only German and French versions. But I require English. What should I do?

Should the EM4 configuration file concern me?

Also, because there are other earlier patches, should I install each patch chronologically?

If by "latest" you mean 4-5 years ago, i have no clue. If you have version 1.3 or something higher, you have the latest version. never had to download any patches so sorry.

Hey everyone,

 

It has been decided that Engine 1 will be an E-One and Rescue will be a Stuphen Rescue-Engine. It will replace the current rescue. There will be a ford explorer as the chiefs car.

 

We will not have any updates on the off-map units progress for a bit as we want to get it to be as bug-free as we can with the on-map units.

 

And I must say much thanks to THVFD as most of this work as said above was because of him.

Maybe someone can answer this question for me. How come this tool does not work with some mods? It works with the LA Mod but it wouldn't work with the Northview Mod. Any reason why?

 

It is not designed to work with every mod, it is an old tool and the way mods are made, have changed a lot. Sorry but what you get in the mod is what you get.

Well what we are going to hopefully do is change up The engine and change the Rescue to a rescue engine. It seems more legit for a small town like this.

Just wanted to let everyone know that it is back in production, see first post.

All other mods work just fine, it's only with this mod that I have the problem with. Deleted it and downloaded it again, still no change. Too bad this mod won't be for me then.

 

So weird... I honestly can't think of why. Sorry i cant help. I don't think its GGD's Problem either cause your the only one having this problem. So weird.

Re-installed the mod + hotfix three times by now. Still no sirens.

Do you have sirens in other mods? Really have no clue why this would be happening.

It is not working for me(I have 1.3f-de) version.I've installed everything but when it is loading it says ID_FREEPLAY.... and game is not loading at all.

 

It should be saying ID_FREEPLAY. That is the english version of it.

 

Mod looks great but I have one problem playing it. None of the sirens work. PD, FD, EMS none. I downloaded the english V2 with the hotfix. I also got an error when I pressed the siren cmd on I think a pd car.

 

 

Mine work fine. Make sure you properly installed the mod or simply re-install.

I think that only PDs that need military equipment should have it. If the county PD has them, locals don't. (Way it works here)

Local PD is also vital to the flow of things. If county/state had to deal with all the shit the locals take, they would be stretching their resources. Now I'm considering the NYPD as local police, which, they are by definition. Now you wouldn't want NYST to take them over now would you? *not saying I don't like the troopers*

Interesting subject to discuss. As stated before, it is always stated as its own jurisdiction. LA county sheriff won't respond to calls in the next county, that is unless there isn't any mutual aid agreement. However, I know from my experience when responding to officer down call, jurisdiction doesn't exist. Just every county, state, local and even federal unit in the area arrives. Sometimes you can see that when officer is shot and literally hundreds of cops are there (e.g. two NYPD officers shot, RIP).

Someone said that sheriff does transports only. I don't think it is correct. See LA County Sheriff. They respond to 911 calls and do patrols on daily basis. Some poor counties have only sheriff county and none local PD to help. Usually they do an agreement with the state PD and patrol with them.

US police system is pretty difficult to understand. However, I cannot cross Toronto line. It happened a few times that fellow officers did pursuit out of Toronto limits and were told off. We have internal policy to hand over the pursuit everytime we are about to cross the limit to other agency. Usually Ontario Provincial Police or RCMP but RCMP is rare to see in TO. It's always better, if something happens, it's not our problem anymore.

And do not forget coroner's officer Sawdbuster. They also have law enforcement powers, some even carry a gun! Have also the arrest power and arrest people if crime is commited. It's known that the coroner is the only one who can arrest the county sheriff. In Kentucky he has full peace officer powers. In Georgia executes arrest warrants. It's scary to know how many people have law enforcement status in the US.

Your right. It's a complicated system no matter where you are. I am fully aware that sheriffs do normal patrol in many places. I was just saying they we have them seeming just doing transport around here. Even NYC has sheriffs. Not that they patrol.

There are a lot who have policing powers but to many, there power is extremely limited. Example, the T&LC police just do safety checks and write taxis.
