You are not able to use 3dwarehouse stuff for a mod... at least last time I checked.... and pretty sure hes not just looking for a model but also one that works. I do not have one working but I know someone does. Don't think he was willing to let it be used though. 

My bad, didn't know. I was just thinking of low poly and easy to convert. It's my go-to for GTA modding. I keep forgetting that EM4 modding rules and GTA (well, at least SA) are vastly different

Code3 excalibur, actually... only way I know is because someone on some obscure GTA forum found it for someone else and I just remembered about it, haha. The lights on the rear deck and rambar look like XT6 and XT3 series lighting, respectively to me but can't tell for sure

Yeah, you're right - not necessarily completely accurate, but more power to him, I suppose. I don't really have the patience to skin for EM4 because I really only do well with blank templates which seem scarce to work with, and I don't know jack shit about zModeler. 

Regardless, I hope to see this be completed. I don't really play any Canadian mods and I haven't had time to look into the RCMP mod, but I'd be eager to follow this one!

I don't know how accurate those are, and I don't necessarily care... I've always thought the overall design of these squads were cool and you have executed that well. Good job and hope to see more!

Does anyone know how much z modeller costs in price!?

I feel like you could open the .skp in Sketchup, export it as something that would open in Zmodeler but I don't know for sure

What is "Larger unit texture"?

I'm guessing they mean the actual size of the image. I don't know what's standard/default for EM4, but for San Andreas modding I've noticed things with a higher resolution turn out MUCH better... 1024x1024 just doesn't cut it in that game, I always double that for SA. I'd talk to someone who knows about EM4 modding. I think itchboy uses 1024x1024 for his cars, but I can't remember. 

I would agree on this. This is more of a mod than a submod.

A few of the units are made using Blender, aswell as many buildings. Therefor in many opinions it is 50% or more new content

On topic, I've been kinda sorta watching this mod too and it looks very promising and I can't wait to play it! I'm more into the PD side of things, though.... I was wondering if it'd be possible to include an older Chicago PD CVPI, hopefully one with a blue/blue Whelen Edge or Whelen Patriot?

I live in a pretty rural part of Iowa...

The town I live in has a police force of 3 - the chief patrols days, the officer patrols nights and the assistant chief patrols days/nights depending on when the other is off. Take home cars. The town cop is on call between midnight and 8am officially, but generally the day cop starts hitting the streets before that. 

Fire department is volunteer, don't know much about it except I saw our ambulance being towed by a pickup truck on a gravel road a while ago.

The sheriff's office usually has two or three deputies on at a time for the county (just under 600 sq mi) 

We have two other incorporated towns, one has usually 4 officers on at any time, and the other town is similar to my own. Fire protection for the county is divided between various volunteer departments and I think Boone City Fire is paid but not sure. EMS operates out of the county hospital versus the FD but FD has first responders and some EMTs.

Sorry. I regret to inform you that this mod has been postponed/cancelled until we find a new good skinner for alot of the FD vehicles and the PD, while I do the 2 remaining FD station and EMS. If a volunteer wants to help with EMS only or any other one of the vehicle types we need to skin, please don't hesitate to ask if you can help. Please leave this mod topic unlocked please, for I do want people to be able to comment here on if they can help or any other comments they want to leave. I also do not want to go through the hassle of asking an admin to unlock the page.

I can do PD skins if you have a design in mind and templates for vehicles you want used.

The light bar on the newer Chargers they have look more like a Whelen Legacy versus a Justice

The Legacy has that split going right down the middle that I don't see on the Justice. I could be wrong, but it definitely looks more like a Legacy to me.

Mad props for naming those Code 3 bars though, I could never do that haha!

and also, GTA modding websites have a LOT base textures that you can start with, good luck with your mod and have a great summer!

If you do this, I'd recommend grabbing things from SA skins instead of IV as SA modders typically are more relaxed and don't really care if their things are used as long as credit is given, IV modders typically require to ask permission

Looking to be buying a new desktop between mid May and early June. Building versus buying isn't a big deal, I have someone who can build for me. also, I appreciate the fact you're using MTA versus SAMP, definitely less common for RP servers, but LS? blahh 

I thought my original skins had the new Interceptors. Maybe not. Also that stupid little circle thing I couldn't figure out what that was and it's not on all their cars so I omitted it from the skins I did forever ago.

In California at least, pretty sure there are other states. I know over here in NY, no.

I think it's just CA - no law for Iowa.

Are you still planning on using my PD skins? That would save you some time to work on other areas.

Mine was removed too, too lazy to put it back. I'll probably replace it with my work one in a few days. It's easier to reach me by email vs PM anyways lol

Do you have any WIP pics?

I'm not 100% positive, but from what I've read, Denver Sheriff primarily handles court duties - serving warrants, bailiffs, security, etc. I don't know of they patrol Denver, as PD and SD both work in the same jurisdiction (Consolidated City and County of Denver), so I feel like the SD home base would be more fitting as a court house where they could drop off their detainees. I've included one Park Ranger car and one Park Police car, so what's shown above would be more fitting for that. Just my two cents.

Perhaps a court house to act as a "station" for the Denver Sheriff's Department to separate them from DPD. Also, I did include Denver International Airport units, so maybe part of an airport on the outskirts would be nice.
