  1. Because some of us like to play realistically.

    As for the ambulance,learn to alter the unit file and do it for your self. Its so annoying now hearing about, 2 transports..the point of this mod is to be realistic, with in some degree. If people want this so bad, then simply ask how to do it or something and realize it isnt going to happen unless Hoppah changes his mind. Even if he does the only unit i see him doing this for is the large rescue ambulance in the submod.

    takes too long when events are pileing up 1 patrol vehicle 1 cop bang bang wounded bad guy call ambulance move to next emergency...

    Id rather see the freightliner ambulance that holds 2 ppl

    a CG chopper that can pick up swimmers in the water

    a chopper that hold more then 1 causalty black hawks hold 4

    and the mas cass unit that like the decon tent will patch them up and send them on their way aand only keep the real bad ones for transport treage so to speak big unit for 8 ppl.

  3. Cannons like these on a boat ship like that are probably impossible or it would require nearly impossible scripting knowledge to realize that. It's not something I am going to try to create. The other features mentioned in the first post might be possible though. On what map do you want the use the ship anyway? The new LA Mod map does not have alot of water nor does any of the freeplaymaps do. The only map suitable for a ship of that size would be the map of the oilrig mission. The real ship looks awesome though. I love aircraft carriers.

    I agree a cutter is no use their is not enough water and the cg chopper is useless can't even pick up a drowning vic,which is what they do so Id rather have a chopper that can carry 4 casualitys like the mass cas unit.

  4. A Quad is a quint, without the aerial ladder. It's basically an engine that carries all the ground ladders that a ladder company carries, without the main aerial ladder.

    You are incorrect that was from wiki and the photo that they had was one of the units from my county I used to live in palm beach.

    its called a quad because of the 4 functions listed in the article hence the word quad meaning 4....

    eather way be nice to have them in the game i really don't like the tiller the reach still seems too short should easily be able to spray over 1 or 2 houses and hit a 3ed.a nice tower platform would be cool.

  6. The vehicles with spotlights like the USAR truck, do not move. You would have to move the truck if you need the lighting positioned differently. The only flood lights you can easily control are the hand held ones the engineer uses. You can rotate it by clicking the circular arrows in the control panel.

  7. In most cases the dozer would take longer to get there then the tow truck. As for being to big, its a tow truck, its supposed to be big, and its already smaller then the mods original tow truck. Not to mention its even longer then either two truck and therefore more likley to have problems then they would.

    Sometimes I had an issue where i could not get the tow truck to the scene spawn point was clogged so I called the loader it beat the tow trucks,That is when i found out it would not push them a selective loader,who knew anyway i called a crane and moved them out of the way:)

I went into the map editor and deleted the fence by the hospital so no more stick ups their.....But that walmart parking lot is a nightmare when u dispatch vehicles to the lot they go on the road behind the shopping center,and when you dispatch to hospitals or some areas the get lost in the wally world parking lot.somewhat realistic i guess even seen some of those parking lots.

I have noticed that if their are cars stick in the intersection the signal lights will not turn,or the cars will not move even if the patch that's blocked does not interfere with the rest of the traffic.Another problem is cars coming off side streets into the main road the are always clogging up the street by turning into another car.The street next to the stadium,the traffic will not respond to the cop.

  10. I too have this problem. I'm running Windows Vista. version 1.8 worked fine with no problems. I tried reinstalling the mod v1.9 and patch 2, tried the configuration file (it only made it crash faster). I have no idea why there is a problem all of a sudden. Please help! I just want it to stop crashing!

    I have the problem on the bridge Their is a big yellow bus that gets stuck when exiting,before i could select it and make it move to HQ I can't now and the ambulances get stuck in the parking lot so far thats the only problems since patch 2 Thanks.

  11. Love the map as said before,The traffic problems and my own vehicles causing some,I have noticed that sometime even with the police redirecting once their stuck they will not move no matter what.

    I would love(I know not possible yet) if the cars would yield or move for code 3 vehicles

  12. The chase command is in Freeplay mode as i have used it successfully a number of times. click on a patrol car and then the icon is in the bottom right corner of the menu. I am at work at the moment so i don't have it in front of me at this point in time to give a better description of it.

    Ok I figured it out,for some reason when I start the mod from within the game it was seemed it was loading the old menus ect.

    So if i load it from desktop all is good,Besides the rain and traffic jams Oh and the BOX cars I have something missing as i get a vehicle thats just a blue grid box with model missing or something written on it.
