I updated net framework got the installer up however i keep getting exception errors looking for the files that are in the very directory its looking at..so its FUBAR so we will wait for the proper installer and detailed instructions I tried a fresh LA 2.0 intsall and one with 4x4s mods eather way no go crash to desk top.I waited this long I can wait for it all to be fixed good luck to all the mod looks fun.good work

  2. my question is do you have to have version 1.1 NY mod installed first because the new one will not even load it crashes to desktop. I manually moved the files as the installer would not run.So i think I will wait until a full working no problem version is ready.I don't like spending 90% of the time trying to get it running when it should run already.it looks great and 1.1 was cool but 2.0 needed major testing before it was released personally I would rather wait for a 100% working product then a rushed under pressure release Dyson don't let anyone push you into releasing nothing before YOU are satisfied with the end result.Good work i look forward to playing it one day.

  3. I had a discussion with Hoppah sometime ago (back with 2.0 was about to come out), and he said it wasn't possible. Now "impossible" doesn't mean it will never happen, as we all once though tillers were impossible. It just means no one around here has figured out how to redirect traffic to another lane. That requires scripting and C++. Theoretically speaking it could probably be accomplished, since emergency vehicles go around civilian cars, but you'd have to re-script the "redirect" command to allow cars to go specific ways when they come upon units redirecting traffic and that might get a little tricky. Coupled with the shear fact that this game can't handle certain things. Their are certain abilities the gaming engine can't be scripted to mimic as such in real life.

    PS: I know your new, but next time use the edit button. The mods, and a lot of other people around here frown on double posting. Just want to save you from future headache.

  4. If your playing my submod when you notice this then yes it is my submod.

    Does this happen when you try to do the rapid deploy to pack up FFs?

    Try the Tec Crane or Fire Heavy Rescue Crane.

    Um that would be my submod. I dont think Hoppah would ever dream of doing these things unless he had a bigger map to work with.

    Also I would recommend you reinstall the submod(delete it then reinstall).

    Its very unlikely, just pay attention when you install 2.0 and it gives you the option to use the old maps.

    I don't remember I always use the Rapid deploy but he does not have a hose so..I have tried everything to get him out of the building only option now is shoot him and let the stretcher carry him out..What a great conversation .."well pal i hate to tell you the only way to get you out ummm were gonna have to shoot you..."

    as for the tree no the cranes will not pick it up I will reinstall the mod i guess...we need a brush tanker with a water cannon..that reminds me when you rapid deploy the on the brush truck is it right it only deploys 1 FF and only has 1 hookup?

  5. I have 3 problems 1 is the k9 it seemed to work fine before i saved my game now their is no commands for it,when the cop goes back into he car it says he is too far away wish we could command the dog like the officer.

    2.this may be a vehicle bug regarding 4x4's extra if so disregard one of the fire suv's at the main station has the doors all messed looks like they took the jaws of life to it..looks approate being their however wen i spawn people they get all bunched up outside and cannot enter the vehicles in the parking lot.

    3.When I had a fire/explosion at the harbor it was a dusey it blew a man under or through the concrete dock I can see him but cannot get him via CG helo or rescue boat he is stuck in the dock but remains on the body count.

    my FF gets stuck in the hotel/bank (the one with the limos) he cannot exit the building for some reason everywhere can.

    and last I cut down a tree and it fell in the road now it blocks traffic and cannot be moved by anything.

    anyway don't know what can or cannot be fixed but that's my so fars...as for the dog that baas instead of barks that's easy its a sheep dog cheaper than German shepherds.

    Great mod i love the different sub stations for the sheriff and port helps a lot.now if we can only get the vehicles to stop pulling in front of ppl and blocking traffic.

OK I bought this game from the atari site about a year and all was fine until last week I am on windows XP I get the security module cannot be activated box.I have DL the securrom diagnostic tool and that wont even update says an internet connection problem well here I am on the internet so that's not it the game is not listed in the help forms ant atari and their seems to be little info on this issue. The game is not on the securroms website so no help their. I don't have any virtual drives or daemon or any of that crap. here is the order.

    I reinstalled so that don't work and i dont ever remember putting in my serial # nor is their a place for it after you install it.

    I will never buy anything with securrom again its more trouble than its worth I should not have to spend 2 days trying to get a game I paid for to work.

  7. I haven't ever seen traffic lights for a fire station. I don't think it commonly used in the US.

    What is the point having these traffic lights? Is traffic that bad on the map?

    I would just script a code where a Engine exit the station. It triggers a switch that cars will stop for 5 secs in front of station.

    Traffic laws states when a Engine is exiting and crossing the fire lane. The cars will have to stop.

    Well i have seen them plenty try living in a big city the station down the road has one we also have the red stobe on traffic lights at busy intersections when an engine/ambulance approches ALL lights turn red for 3 min.

    would u say that is accurate? accurate is key since its realistic and all.

    Sorry i just did not see it.accept my apology if it was said that many times then u must be right these eyes are getting old.
