  1. Update

    Because the files of the small crew had been lost have I taken some time to fix the small bugs. The paths are now correct, gunman deleted, FS2 is working ok, added trafficlights, added a sniper event, silo can be towed away, cockpit of crashed plane can be towed away, people that are standing under a building is fixed, added some fences to block ambu from driving trough forest and some other small things witch I can't remember.

    I didn't change the traffic flow, because that requires a lot of testing.

    I want to thanks the crew that have been working on the bugs. I hope that they will continue on improving this map.

    i got an idea for 'if' you will work on it again..

    To make it more LA style (LA mod), add much traffic so its very busy on the road.

    Dutch (i think you prefer this language as its your own)

    Ik heb een idee voor 'als' je er nog een keer aan gaat werken..

    Om het meer LA style te maken (LA mod), Veel verkeer toevoegen zodat het druk op de weg wordt.

  2. I had problems overwriting but i solved it,, so now im gonna explain for if you get this problem too:

    Use winrar..

    You get the Add brush.... folder...

    Go in it..

    Then you got the LA mod 1.8 folder.

    Go in it..

    THen you get 3 folders.

    Scripts, Prototypes and Maps..

    Go in Maps first.

    Then you see 2 files.

    Extract them where they belong (Mods / Los Angeles Mod V1.8 / Maps (Extract them into Maps))

    If my idea is correct you should NOT get an overwriting message...

    Go to the Maps folder.

    (in your program files)

    You see the Add Brush.... folder...

    GO in it and go in the maps till you see the 2 files again.

    Then use the command on the left to move the 2 files to the Maps folder where they belong.

    When you did it RIGHT you get the overwriting msg, do so., go into your Maps folder and delete the Add brush folder.

    Do the same with (im talking in winrar now) Scripts and Prototypes..

    And then you will have the normal LA mod V1.8 with this add-on...

  3. As it's been said over and over again, please refrain from giving new suggestions/ideas. Warnings can result from them.

    However, it's really easy to make the bomb squad and FBI and even SWAT Trucks to park at the police station. Some believe that it is unrealistic (and they are right) because these units are called from the main HQ building, most of the time, they are not stationed at smaller police stations, they are called from HQ when they are needed.

    But anyways, you don't even need to change any scripts. Just go into the Editor and add the "Go To Police Station" button for each vehicle. Just load the mod on the editor, go into edit commands (for that vehicle) and add the vcmdtopolicestation (I think that's what it's called) to the vehicle's commands.

    Then they just go to the normal parking at front, i meant where the police cars spawn,. at the back.

    That they park there!

    Then you need to lay streets and stuff..

  4. I think same to you.If Hoppah can I wish he can creat a S.W.A.T station or "buiding" for FBI and S.W.A.T team.Call them from HQ is more expensive than keep them in map :1046276372_bawling:

    Hoppah can you release V1.9 with a Swat or FBI building...

    Or That you add the script as seen in this thread that the bomb squad and fbi can park at the parking where the police vehiceles come out...

  5. I think it's even somewhere on the normal freeplaymap close to the canal and the trainbridge. The new map will be tested on both versions to make sure people without Deluxe don't have any missing objects. :)

    i could test it for the Normal Emergency 4.. :holdglass:

    October 21, 2009. 10:14:57 am Depends, do you want an empty map (most of the traffic is still missing) with lots of bugs and other weird things or do you want a playable and stable freeplaymap with enough detail so you never get bored? There are about 2 to 3 months between that. Then it needs to be tested. I hope to release this map before 2010. :)

    I prefer a playable and stable freeplay map :23_31_4:

  6. hey do you have to be running La mod V 1.7 or can the new map be run on v.1.8.1

    it sure can, it works for me.

    hi everybody i have a problem and was hoping someone could help me out. when i copy the files of the new map (3 files) it replaces the files from the first la sub mod but it still plays the map of the first la mod submod. does anybody know why this is and if possible could they tell me how to fix it. thank you

    Do you mean the la mod..

    or an submod..

    Or what??
