  2. if you want to have the vehicle in freeplay or multiplayer you need to edit freeplaybase.xml and/or freeplaybase_mp.xml too.
  3. Yes, vehicles.xml (in Data/Specs folder) isn't used in Emergency 4. Instead of vehicles.xml each unit has its own file in the Units folder.
  4. Yeah. I just need to make some new animations (not 'files'). Very simple .......... The Patriot Launcher doesn't have any animations except for the supports. How are you going to make launching missiles? And the animations for the Patriot Launcher? Hoppah
  5. The Patriot Launcher isn't even playable, because it can't have a function in the game. You know that too.

  7. MORE LA MOD NEWS!: Two new scripts finished: 1. The first script is for the Aerial Ladder Vehicle. With a command you add the basket to the vehicle before you are going to use the basket. 2. The second command is for the Water Tender; You can switch between water cannon and hose connections now. You can't use them at the same time. And here a pic of the US Army units I have so far (sky added with photoshop): As you can see I've added the HMMWV and US Marines to my mod. I have also reskinned the Patriot Launcher. Greetz , Hoppah

  9. I help you, because you've helped me too (with sirens and tips). I'm happy you've uv-mapped the ambulance by yourself, because uv-mapping a model is boring work. Badly, I can't make every model for your mod, because I want to work on my own mod and I don't have all the time of the world. Besides that, I want to help Stan with his mod too.
  10. Well, that's something else. I already have a Vector lightbar model and uv-mapping that thing is done within an hour. If you requested a whole new vehicle you will get a 'no'.
  11. READ THIS VERY CAREFULLY! This topic is about changing and copying things from the LA Mod. 1. Private Mods First of all, there were some confusions about private mods. Because private mods are not to be shared with other people it is allowed to change anything for personal use. 2. Distributing You are allowed to use, modify, and distribute in a modification anything that was originally created by me. Ensure that the models were indeed originally created by myself and not others, if it was created by another author, you still require their permission to use, modify, and distribute their works. Consult the last page of the Los Angeles Mod Manual for a full list of the authors of other models and contributions to the modification. The only thing I require in exchange for using my models is that you mention inyour readme/manual under credits my nickname for using any of my works in your modification. For Example: "Original Model By: Hoppah" along with the vehicle in which you used so that others know who they are required to credit should they modify it later. It is NOT permitted to distribute models that were originally created by myself without crediting me in the readme/manual file(s). 3. Other work Not everything in the LA Mod is made by me. Please check out the readme or the manual of the LA Mod to find out what is made by who. Contact these authors if you want to use something from them. Contact me if you were not able to contact them. 4. My other mods Besides the LA Mod I've made a couple of other, small mods which you can find on my website. Each of these small mods are free to use without my permission. Make sure to mention my name in the readme if you are going to release these mods. 5. Contact If you want to use and change something that is made by me and a part of the LA mod and you have the intention to release it, please contact me by PM or post in this topic. Don't forgot to add a detailed list of what you want to use. Make sure to read the rules above before doing this.   12. Yes, that's possible. I can make an extra command for vehicles. It just enables/disables the yelp sounds.
  13. Yes, but not in v1.0. That version will contain new units and commands only.
  14. Tip: Don't fight the fire, but protect the objects (buildings) which may not catch fire. Just wait until the fire is gone. Use the fire fighting plane to fight the fire in important area's (near buidings and persons).
  15. Mod news: I'm working on a new website, which should be launched soon. The layout looks much better than the current one. I am also improving some scripts and I have very cool sounds for my weapons (pistol, sniper rifle, m4a1 and mp5). I will start with converting the last vehicles from the Emergency 3 version of the Los Angeles Mod soon. Those vehicles are the 2 SWAT armoured trucks and the SWAT water cannon vehicle. I will also start with the Tow Truck model soon. So, I still have a lot of work to do but I'm making good progress. Hoppah.
  16. The Fire Fighting Boat and Airplane are finished. I've made two pictures: Before people are going to shout 'How you get the nice sky?': I've edited the pic with the airplane with Photoshop. The sky and sun are added. I hope you like the 2 units. Hoppah
  17. I'm also working on the Fire Fighting Airplane and Fire Fighting Boat. I am not going to make new models for those, because that's too much work and both units aren't used much. Hoppah
  18. I think it's possible to make commands that you can use a machinegun same as you use the pistol. The problem is that I don't have good animations, because I think I can't change the animations then (unit will hold the machinegun same as he holds the pistol etc..). btw. I will start with the Tow Truck and Boat Transporter. The Tow Truck will look like this: click The Boat Transporter will have the front of the model I've made for baz his ambulance: click So, this vehicle will be made up, because I couldn't find pics of a real Boat Transporter. I think they are transported on a trailer in real life, but I can't make that (yet). Hoppah
  19. I've added install instructions in the first post. The patch package (emergency33.rar) contains a readme called TNT.nfo. You can open that file with notepad. I've copied the install instructions from that file to the first post. The most important thing is: IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH INSTALLING THE PATCH, RUN (double click) TNT-FIX.REG!! If you still have problems, reinstall your game and install the patch immediatly after the installation of Emergency 3. If you are sure you've followed the instructions and you still can't install the patch or play the game with the patch, write an email to Sixteen Tons. THEY are not giving support to people with the UK version of Emergency 3. We are just trying to help you. Good luck, Hoppah

  23. Busy with the blackhawk model The original model is from GTA San Andreas, but I am changing it heavily (adding and removing polygons). You can see a part of the interior too. Hoppah
