  1. Hey guys,

     

    I've been doing a little experimenting in the editor trying to create new maps and such and I was wondering, how do I move an objects from one mod to another? I already copied the model files and prototypes and transferred them to the mod folder I want to use them in, all the folders match up with the same names but in the editor it says it is missing the model file. Can  anyone walk me through of what I am suppose to do?

  2. They all look brilliant, I do have one question however: What is the law enforcement set up for this "area"?  Is the county called Stillwater County hence the Stillwater Sheriff's Department? If not then how does it all "work"? Most counties I'm familiar with have a name and then multiple cities in the county each with independent PDs working independently of the Sheriff's Department. Just curious about this, either way everything looks brilliant and I'm looking forward to seeing some FD units!

     

    If you look at Florida, the sheriff's departments basically run the show down there unlike in say New Jersey where its the municipal police. You could say that the Stillwater Sheriff's Department is in charge of everything inside the county which include the town of Stillwater. It's common to have a town in a county with the same name. 

  3. So with the recent shifts in helpers & the issues with the files where does the mod stand ? Just Curious

     

     From my understanding there is still alot of work to do. We have lighting to do for the vehicles, texturing to finish, scripting/paths to work on and the map itself needs to be finished up.

  4. I'm aware, it is implemented in Stillwater already, but it doesn't feature water supply between vehicles. Only hydrant to vehicle.

     

    Usually in a rural area you would see a tanker drop a water pool which simulates a hydrant and the tanker keeps filling it up.. So you coudl do that. 

  5. Do you all think you will be adding the limited water capacity logic to this mod? Seems like it would make the mod really hard but add a much better level of realism, then you can replace that nice looking but useless ladder with a tanker/tender.

     

    I think limited water would be very cool. If thats the case, I'd recommend adding in a few mutual aid companies  (engines/tankers) because then you can simulate a tanker shuttle with the tanker pools and all that fun stuff. I literally just did a tanker shuttle drill last night, and it is very fun. 

  6. To be honest I don't live in an area with volunteer fire depts. so I wouldn't know but an airport units coming off base?

     

    Airport units come off base too. Whether its for a structural response or aircraft rescue. A couple years ago we had a fuel truck catch fire on the highway and was burning pretty good and the US Navy rolled off base with one of the ARFF Trucks. 

  7. None of the buttons of the firehouses work so i can't play the mod. Furthermore, it seems to be only 2 vehicles in the big firehouse is that normal ?

    I have installed the two patches.

     

    Yeah if you've been following this mod, Bama changed the fire house to make it more of a small town volunteer theme.,
