  1. I got it to work. I had to change the name of the folder.
  2. I was moving a few objects from the us army mod just to test out and get an idea for something but it doesnt work.
  3. Yes. I did transfer the png. I have the .dds, v30 and png files all in there.
  4. Hey guys, I've been doing a little experimenting in the editor trying to create new maps and such and I was wondering, how do I move an objects from one mod to another? I already copied the model files and prototypes and transferred them to the mod folder I want to use them in, all the folders match up with the same names but in the editor it says it is missing the model file. Can anyone walk me through of what I am suppose to do?
  5. Also too add, some of you may know but the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is actually the sheriffs department for Clark County. Look into it if you don't know. So yes, sheriff's departments vary in every state as well as this mod.
  6. If you look at Florida, the sheriff's departments basically run the show down there unlike in say New Jersey where its the municipal police. You could say that the Stillwater Sheriff's Department is in charge of everything inside the county which include the town of Stillwater. It's common to have a town in a county with the same name.

  8. I personally don't see the point in tasers for this game. It is pretty easy to take a suspect down even without using a gun.
  9. From my understanding there is still alot of work to do. We have lighting to do for the vehicles, texturing to finish, scripting/paths to work on and the map itself needs to be finished up.
  10. I know alot of companies are starting to integrate red and blue near me. The trucks my company has mainly have red/white lights but we have a few blue lights such as on the side of the bumper, in the rear, and on the front. not too many.
  11. I like that engine. It would be nice to get away from the traditional red truck. I know some of us volunteers like to be creative when it comes to truck colors haha.
  12. Would like to see some more car accidents. Maybe some mind boggeling calls like specialized rescues.
  13. Looks awesome. Will you by any chance be putting any new calls on the map? If not I can help you out with that.
  14. Usually in a rural area you would see a tanker drop a water pool which simulates a hydrant and the tanker keeps filling it up.. So you coudl do that.
  15. I think limited water would be very cool. If thats the case, I'd recommend adding in a few mutual aid companies (engines/tankers) because then you can simulate a tanker shuttle with the tanker pools and all that fun stuff. I literally just did a tanker shuttle drill last night, and it is very fun.
  16. Having a little problem.. I played the mod for a good hour straight until I got off.. I just went to play it again... Crashes once it loads. Gonna redownload it right now and try a reinstall.

  18. Airport units come off base too. Whether its for a structural response or aircraft rescue. A couple years ago we had a fuel truck catch fire on the highway and was burning pretty good and the US Navy rolled off base with one of the ARFF Trucks.
  19. Never seen a military base respond off base to assist volunteer agencies with hazmat or large fires?

  22. Yeah if you've been following this mod, Bama changed the fire house to make it more of a small town volunteer theme.,
  23. Hit ignore, it should work. Ive had that problem with other mods.
  24. Im liking the crown vic alot. I personally like sending the EMS supervisor cars to EMS calls before the ambulance because it seems more realistic to me. Looking forward to see some fire apparatus too!
