  2. great update looks better all the time and glad your not worried but I still feel a lot of us will be spending our time playing such a massive and amazing release as grand theft auto v so I wish you all the very very best with the project and release if I am not as involved in following it come september 17th as have pre-ordered my collectors edition

    Cheers :)

    and good for you :)

  3. Well GTA5 is a completely different game, so we're not worried about that in the slightest!

Some screen shots as promised from game play of a medical emergency at the service station. Rambleside CFR in attendance, with Ambulance 302 (off map). As you can see e34p added the connect fire hose to the fire engine from a hydrant :)

  4. This mod looks amazing, can't wait for the release. Have to say there are going be many many hours spent on this game when the mod gets released. Well done to the creaters of this mod a lot of people are going have to work very hard to beat this.....

Cheers for the comment :) should have some more screen shots for tonight. The vehicles are all in game and working. Just need to get the lighting finished. A few more scripts are being added (connect fire engine to a hydrant being one of them), and the map still needs to be complete, the map is about 50% complete.

I hope everyone does spend many hours on our mod when its released! thats just what we have made the mod for! We wanted realistic game play, which we think we have achieved!

  5. Wouldn't one like this:http://www.flickr.com/photos/nick19/5720030664

work seeings as it is basically a TL stuck on top of a pump?

We could include one like this. I did do one of these for my own private mod previousley, but the problems is that in em4, you can only use a vehicle as 1 function. So if we put a TL on the roof of a pump, it could be used as a turntable ladder OR as a pump. Not both. You cant connect hoses upto a turntable ladder (DLK as it is in the game).

  6. A long awaited update for the mod. Some game play for you!

Grass fire up on the hills in Welford. In attendance is 10P2 Welford's pump. 10M8 Welford's Land Rover and 14M8, Rambleside's 4x4 pump.

The hills are only accessible by 4x4 vehicles, which will be 10M8, 14M8 and the mountain rescue land rover. To help with fires on the hills we have the dividing breech skin which enables you to have an endless line of fire hose! and also the monitor script.

However work is still ongoing, and we're nearly ready to show a final vehicle line up!

Also the Bremachs have gone from C9 and D9, replaced by the BRV's (i know D9 have theirs not sure about C9 yet)

  9. How many will it be on the ambulance. Will it be 2 like in the Copenhagen mod and Us army mod or will it be 3 like in many other mods. I miself prefer 1 with a stretcher or the 2 guys on the ambulance takes the stretcher. Will you have to look after the air on the smokedivers (sorry if i say wrong)?. The mod look so good cant wait.

lukas1 thanks for your reply, there will be 2 persons on the ambulance, 1 person will be able to get the stretcher, the other can be treating the patient.

Thanks to everyone else also for your continued support!

A new vehicle for you, which we have deided will be an on-map vehicle, based at Rambleside fire station (still need to add some bits to the skin)

    Hope you like :)

  10. If you don't mind me asking what kind of new scripts are going to be in this mod?

Well there isnt any 'new' scripts, they are all scripts we've used from the downloads on the german forum. So far we've got alert retained firefighters, special door scripts, special lights, open/close lockers on the fire engines, extensive change clothes script. Each vehicle has multiple siren options. Water monitor for the hoses, divding breeches, automatic fire alarm script, stryker stretcher script to name but a few.

The fire stations have removeable roofs, openable doors (individually)

  11. Well guys, bit of news from us.

e34p has sent me over everything he's done, i'm in the process of adding my units etc... into the game. I say we're 70% done on the units, cant give a % on the whole mod just yet.

The freeplay map is fully playable, e34p has done an astounding job with this, and he takes full credit for designing the map, building the buildings and adding/editing all the scripts!

Will have some map screen shots soon!

  12. What percent are you at I hope you don't take this as me asking for a realese date or asking to hurry up or anything like that

Not sure on the percent at the moment. Me and e34p are working on separate parts of the mod. I am skinning models and personnel, lighting, and e34p is working on scripts, map and buildings.

There will be a few more updates tonight

  13. Do you guys have any plans of including the incident commander being able to for instance, "make pumps 5" ect

At this stage, we have no plans to have this kind of command in the mod. But it may come with later releases!.

However the mod will have 'change clothes' script. Where FF's are able to change into incident commander, BA entry control, sector commander, safety officer, command support, gas tight suits etc....The same will apply to paramedics who will be able to change into hi-vis, HART can change in to B.A etc...

Apologies for the lack of updates from myself lately, for those of you who don't know my full time job is with the emergency services, so the shifts take up 5 days of my week! There is plenty going on behind the scenes.

Thanks everyone for your continued support!
