It seems that every fire and rescue service has a different system and setup
@Pottyscotty I also have not got a clue why Norfolk fire and rescue service use them, maybe it's just my local station but they have a red and white version of the black and yellow one that you have done. My guess is they might of been using it as a substitute for a yellow and black one that got damaged?
All FRS will use the same colours for the tabbards, the national BA guidance states it must be a yellow/black tabard. Any FRS you visit red/White will always be command support, white incident commander, blue safety officer, yellow/orange sector commander and orange or red for operations commander.

^ what he said
Very interesting, I always like finding out bits of information like this. Can I ask if you have a role in the Fire Service because you certainly have a lot of knowledge of it!
I'll drop you a PM

Each service who use mobile data use their own different methods. Some have appliance pagers for use when away from the vehicle, some has a siren like noise 'alert' some services just use mobile phones.Cheers for that one, never heard of a visual aid like that on Fire Appliances, is that method still in use on modern vehicles?
As for the red beacon to show command support this is a new thing in the last15 or so years but now an increasingly important role on any fire ground, even just 1 pump incidents which requires a dedicated firefighter or team (at larger jobs)

There is a green light on the rear which can be activated separately, this light indicates that the Appliance is being used as a Command Point (I do think this is what it means, on newer appliances it is a White/Red Flashing mast). A Command point lighting system will be added to all Appliances.
Red/White is always command point/command support. I believe the green lights are to identify that a fire call has been reiceved to the appliances in board mobile data terminal (MDT), for visual purposes when away from the appliance.

First mod I've downloaded in a long long time as I was really drawn to this.
So simple but yet so enjoyable to play. Great job!
I know a further version is in progress and I am looking forward to this. I shall be honest and say after 1.5hrs of gameplay the types of calls did become repetitive. It would be good to see more description for the calls when they are received, rather than just 'person injured'. As in the ambulance service we provide our responders with a lot of information on the type of call they are attending.
Do you know if the Danish ambulance services use AMPDS for the dispatch of their ambulance resources? If so contact me for some info I could provide for a more realistic dispatch.
The skill set of Peter is also spot on to the skills of a 'community first responder" in the UK which is quite cool for me playing in the UK - (except for giving glucose and ECG - although enhanced level CFR's can give glucose but it's not common to find many enhanced CFR's these days)

Still in Armed Response then?
Hehe

You must have a sh*t load of money if you want someone to graft for months and months and maybe even a year to make YOU a mod.
I'll do it but it's at an hourly rate!
Get real.

You are naming everything correctly except if you have a person who is not entrapped you can still call them 'ccard'
But you need to ensure you have persons entrapped in the vehicle named ' ccar'
You cannot have non entrapment accidents. But you can have as many vehicles involved as you like but at least 1 has to have someone trapped.
Hope that helps.

Could still do with another entry for this! Had some good ones already!

The Welfordshire mod needs your help!

Hi all!
Myself and e34p are looking for assistance from someone to assist us with the realease of v1.0 of the Welfordshire Mod.
We're looking for a couple of volunteers to record themselves saying some phrases we would like for the mod, to add to the realism. There would be around 8 recordings we'd like to get done, which are for the fire appliance radio statuses.
For example something we'd like you to record "N W one four papa one mobile incident, one four papa one over"
We would preferably like these recordings to us by the end of next week.
Drop me a PM if you are interested to help, and I'll send you the 'scripts' over.

Did you literally just copy and paste what I said...
Haha... Okay

Hey, all I'm saying is no one has seen me and batman in the same room together..
But aye, back to topic, sounds awesome and a refreshing realistic change to the entire block burning in seconds, that always wound me up haha!
The fires are being edited, not so much that they burn for longer, but so they're more realistic, for example a house doesn't all of a sudden catch on fire and come out of every window and through the roof!

Great screens guys but more off topic was travelling through welford today funnily enough in my other job as a truck driver and saw a sweet looking marked up evo 10 police patrol vehicle
Haha we didn't think there was an actual place called Welford, until I had a job there the other week too lol
-
Are you guys going to include the limited water supply script??
Yes that will be included e34p has recently made this compatible with the game, I don't have that update from him just as yet, which is why it doesnt reflect in the above screens.

Amazing work. I was contemplating a Welfordshire v2 but cannot contend with this. Hats off to you.
