    There's been no 3D edits, reskinning a model isn't an issue. But as HDmods said he allowed permission for editing and use of his models now and as far as I have been told no longer mods for Em4.

    Wait so EP is not allowing anymore mods for EM4? What did you mean by no longer mods for Em4?

    @HDmods, I know there weren't and edits to the model. I was trying to find out for another member who was confused.

    Hey I am also on the modding team for the Washington DC mod that was started before this one and it is still a WIP soooo. I personally don't think it is right that a mod has already been started and then someone else starts one for the same city. :s Also what did you edit on NNICO's model?

    I played the map topday....interesting BUT I have a problem. I see white squares on the lights.

    When you get the white squares that means you don't have the same coronas as the vehicle/mod has. I think that the coronas that you need to download and add to the game are on the very first page of this topic.

  14. Gimp Problems... again

    just rename the file from

    Example: engine1.dds ------------> engine1HE.v3o and make sure you have another letter or something to tell the difference between the actual v3o and the one you changed from a dds file

    Then unpack engine1HE.v3o and click "OK"

    Exit the editor and go back to the original file and change it back to a dds WITHOUT the extra letters or whatever you put in it. It should be unlocked and work for you then. Let me know if that doesn't work.

    The dds file might not be unlocked. You still have to unlock the file even if you use a dds converter. I use paint . Net and it is basically the same so I can't really help with anything else that involves gimp. Try unlocking it in the editor. If you don't know how to unlock the skins/dds file go to the tutorials and look in there. If you can't find a tutorial I will post how to do it. But it'll be a little long. :)

    Hey All, I posted this as my status, but Zach and myself want to get some different looking vehicles into game rather than just re-skinning all of the LA Mod vehicles...therefore, we are looking for a possible modeler. If you have questions or have interest in filling this position, please PM myself or Zach! Before we let you have the position we would need to see some of your work (screen shots, in game play with your vehicles, etc.). Thanks for all the support guys!

    Yes we really need someone who can model a few things or at least UV map and texture a couple of models for us. If you are interested please PM me or Philip! Thanks for supporting the New Orleans mod.

    WOW..and I thought Dyson got crap from people. Just take it for what it is. If I know how to create and total new game or even New Mods like game play and things I would. And I would be rich :) however I dont' :(. But I have enjoyed the work on the mod and reskins been a challege at times and yet I have recieved good positive feed back so my reward right there. If you dont like rekins and mixing up games then perhaps you need to find another game. For us that create this stuff it's always free. Free to you not to us we spend alot of time so others can have fun with our work. So enjoy it or not. If people dont want to see a Boston mod then the creaters can enjoy it and the rest can only wish for a Boston mod. Just my 2 cents .....

    I agree with you JD. I my self am a modder and I work on my mod till all hours of the night, and it is all done so other people can enjoy what we have created. :D just to let you guys know who have never modded before, it is harder than you think it is and it's time consuming. We take our time to make things look nice and stuff for other people to enjoy. I am not trying to take sides with anyone. We all have our own opinions.

    not to sound mean but why the reskins? id like to see something else...

    We all have our own opinions......personally, I really like the mod and all of the things it has. But that's only my opinion.

    Kind of rude and selfish man,first of all,he may prefer the Boston services and there is no way for his city to be represented in the game unless he makes skins...Secondly ,all people that mod a game can't model or script so they choose a reskin project.

    The replay value of this game would get old very quickly without people modding them and sharing their work,.You should be gratefull that people actually make stuff for (some) of you to play!

    Just a suggestion but you could work on the mod and release it with you base units and then make extra unit packs for the additional units that some members would like, I know the Ravenna sub mod is doing the same.

    Yes we will have an extra units pack.
