depends on it, if the Fire department is closer than the ambulance or police unit then they respond to it (Correct me if I am wrong)

I saw a ladder truck and a regular fire engine in a call with two ambulances on scene. I went to a callout website and it said that it was a "reanimation assistance". Another thing, do the emergency vehicles turn off the emergency lights when on scene? Sorry the for long reply, I'm really interested! xD

They sometimes do, but the lighting depends on the driver. Also, what cops said, responding services are differnt for ech region. Sometimes there's just one or two ambulances at a call like that, sometimes they also call the fire department, although ladder trucks only respond to situations where the ambulance crew needs smoeone to get extracted trough a window because a strtcher doesn't fit in the elevator or down the stairs.
