So I know this is in v1, but I'm still curious...I keep on getting a lot of "this unit does not belong at the station" for a number of fire apparatus. Is this normal or is it on my end?
Depends on which units, since not all of the units are parked on map, a lot a call off map although they might still have the a ToStation Command in their menu.

This isn't a bug or a problem, it is kinda of set towards having more medicals since that is realistic. That said it varies greatly. I have had games where you might only get one good job, or a game where you just are going one to the other. I think it might lead toGreat mod (well I'm from Brooklyn so )( Just kidding id like it even if I was not) but I keep getting this issue sort of I keep getting EMS calls, 2 NYPD calls and had only had 1 fire happen is this a problem? I really want to use the FDNY already in a fire
One or two "boring" games occasionally but it keeps the mod overall interesting. Yesterday I had a fire at a place I've never had one before, and I've been playing this thing from alpha.

Hello, im losing texture when i put on emergency lights on some vehicles and the maps tecyure is dispearing for me, what can it be?
Happy to get answer soon
If your getting black squares on the textures, usually when turning the lights on, it is a performance problem with your computer. As said by someone else probably low memory depending on what kind of computer you are using.
Probably to low on memory, but i installed the new patch. But when i play all the traffic is getting stuck, and after 1 hour my emergency cars cant even move anymore of all those cars.
I haven't experienced the traffic getting jammed unless it was caused by the parking of rigs at a incident etc. If it is because a fire incident, plan ahead and block roads off before they all backup. We done multiplayer games for over two hours, just takes some traffic management.

what is the real function of the alarms that you can give from the computer inside the firehouse?
They are basically used as a feature in multiplayer, no other real purpose then that. You can see its usage in the mp videos

Those specs........and people thought the Manhattan mod ran bad on their computers.
Looks like my 780TI is going to work!
And 18GB of space? Thats just like vanilla Flight Simulator X if i'm not mistaken.
Was thinking the same thing. Either its going to look outstanding or they did "optimize" their game

I'm sry if someone said this but i got the bug that the driver of e214 get to a normal ff after ?detaching? a hose from the engine. but everything else in the mod is great, i love it^^
Edit: This bug also happened with the squad 252 driver
This usually happens if you use someone other than the chauffeur

Yea I know its the 13th, but I came across this old video and think its a worthy a tribute to post. I've only started some modding with the BOF but I think I can speak for everyone when I say its a honor to work and be apart of a modification about a fire department and a city that had sacrificed a lot that day 13 years ago.
Before you ask this was discontinued along time ago

when will it be releaed
Really? Are you illiterate.

Can I have access to the beta version you guys play on so I can get familiar with the map to see how it goes. The only mod I have is the Manhattan Mod 3.2SD with the default map not the Times Square One. Let me know Please! Thanks a lot!
No sorry, it is a closed beta for a select few testers. You will have to wait until its completion and release

Can I join to and play with you guys I can get on Team Speak 3 with no trouble to your servers, have no mic yet but can get one ordered to use for the clan. I have had trouble with your Manhattan Mods not running on a Intel Processor but am really interested in the FDNY and have a awesome EM4 game experience. Please let me know. Thanks a lot!
We welcome anyone to stop on by, all you have to do is join the ts. A mic is kinda of preferred since playing Em4 games, or any other games, without a mic is just difficult. Even if you can't run the mod, you can listen in on games if there is one and maybe even dispatch if you know how the FDNY does it.

Ever want to play as part of the second largest fire department in the world? Want to realistically play one of Emergency's 4 biggest modifications in multiplayer?
NYCERU is a Multiplayer Clan that accurately recreates the FDNY's rank structure, Radio Traffic, MDT's, Dispatch Policies, and Firefighting techniques. Be able to play Versions 1-3, soon the Borough of Fire modification, and exclusive patches not yet released. We are also a group of Brothers. NYCERU was created by the creators of the Manhattan & Brooklyn Modifications and itself and that is what NYCERU is based around. Upon joining you need to run through 1 or 2 training games in the FDNY Fire Academy Modification with an officer to be promoted to Fire Fighter if eligible. During that game they will teach you what to do and what not to do. The men listed above have been with NYCERU for over a year, some more than four years. We have grown a great bond and we speak everyday. Great friends come from this group and anyone you ask can prove that.
TO JOIN
You must have a MIC to be promoted to FF

is it out yet if it is wheres the download link
No its not, here is everything that is out http://forum.emergency-planet.com/topic/18954-nyceru-general-topic/

will it run on an hp pavilion touchsmart 14 sleekbook intel graphics
Did a quick google search of the specs, and if I read the correct one it should be fine to run it. It has about the same specs as my lenovo laptop which it runs on. Now let me say it does run pretty smooth, but if your calling in a 10-60 all units you might get some issues.

I think amazon.com still has it, and the atari website has it as well.. Idk if either of them have issues with the modinstaller or not, so someone else will have to answer that one.
Atari does have problems with the mod-installer, but there is a fix for it.

Same here the file is shown to not exist and the ones they have here on the downloads section say they are corrupt when i try to extract those files after downloading.
Re-upload V3.0.5 with the Hotfix C to mega and put a new link in the general topic.

The trucks look awesome, definitely what I have been looking to see in a mod.
You think that thing is beastly? A town a few districts over from mine has a truck like this converted civilian tanker, I pity the fool that has to maneuver that to our rural fires.
Try this going through Times Square
-
It is similarly easy with the ground textures: These can now be "sprayed" directly onto the terrain using various brushes. With different textures and different colourings and adjustments to the underlying terrain textures, all possible types of terrain can be produced. The system, however, does not only engages the data of the texture - with paving stones , for example, height information can be stored. In the ISO view, these details may not necessarily stand out. But as the level designer suddenly zooms into the scene and fills the grooves between the paving stones with water, there is again enthusiasm in the room.
YES
Edit: omg just got to the apart about working in the editor online, just awesome

just a quick question, my game lags when ever i activate the emergency lights on vehicles with LEDS so do you know if that will be happen with this mod to?
Honestly it all depends on your computer. If you lag when you turn the lights on in lets say LA Mod 2.1, then your probably gonna have a bad time with this. However, this mod has been tested on a few low end computers and has done relatively well.

I've been out of the loop for a few months and just download the newest version and put the hotfix in but I have a few trucks in the stations that come up with that missing prototype box... Also, the fire station doors do not open up. Sorry to sound like a newbie, I just haven't been playing EM4 lately this year and just got back into it and I am totally lost.
Which download did you use?
-
Thanks for the translation, only was able to pick out the word emergency. That part about the mobile really says something about their future in gaming, but I fine with that as long as Em5 is still in the works.

We're finally ready to show off what we've been working on, first glimpse at the full game with a 20 minute gameplay trailer showcasing both the map and new features and units. Be sure to check it out and share your thoughts especially on the video itself to help it gain popularity. The game itself is now at the final beta stage and a select crack team of experienced testers have been selected, we're still not releasing a date but for now atleast you can see what the final product will look like.
Disclaimer - Video current of BETA build 1.0.1.4 the team reserves the right to change any aspect of the game prior to release.
Hope you like what we've done with the place

The second name of this game should be traffic management simulator. The best suggestion I can give is use the police for traffic control. At the beginning of a game stage police units around the ends of the big roads like Atlantic and Bedford, where the spawn points for vehicles are and keep a few scattered around. When an incident occurs, before you even start sending units to respond, you need to kinda of plan ahead. Decide where you want EMS and Fire staging etc and block those roads off accordingly. Even though you might get some traffic backup, as long you you prevent major gridlock from occurring it should fix itself. If it is on the side street, try and stop the traffic one block up so the street where the incident is on doesn't become congested with your vehicles and AI. Just like it really is in NYC, try to minimize the amount of room you need, strategically park the rigs so your maybe only blocking one lane instead of two.
