  1. Ah, I got it to record through my microphone. This is what NYPD's Dispatch Channels for the Precincts usually sound like. I cut out all the empty air time so things sound faster then they normally do. Numbered Units (Like 9552) are PSA/Housing Units that deal with Housing Projects and the properties around them. Other Units like 75 Adam are sector cars that respond to calls in private houses and on the streets.:

If you want any specific audio just tell me and I will try to record it.

EDIT: And Tim, sorry to hear this. :nein:

  2. What he means is if your scanner has a headphone plug receptical, you can plug it in to your computer using a male-male (both ends pointy instead of one pointy, one hole (female :P )) into the microphone jack. I have a feeling that was a TERRIBLE explanation lmao

I don't and my computer is all USB ports so that's out of the question.

  3. I do not have information on that. Could you explain it a little bit? :)

SPRINT is the 911 system for the NYPD. A Sprint number is an incident reference number for every call or activity. If a report needs to be further referenced or further investigated, the SPRINT number can be used to call up any other vitial info as well. The SPRINT system stands for Special Police Radio Inquiry Network. Instead of communicating by phone, the dispatcher can type to other dispatchers instead. The SPRINT system also keeps tracks of assignments and assigns Sprint Numbers to them. Often times when a Police Officer finishes a job/assignment that needs to be referenced they'll ask for the SPRINT number.

ANI/ALI (pronounced Annie Alley over the radio) gives the location of the callers as well as their numbers. If they're on a cellphone it'll just give what cell site it came from. It's useful if the caller doesn't give a location or can't give one. Basically, it's advanced caller ID.

ANI : Automatic Number Identification (the callback #)

ALI : Automatic Location Identification (Address/Cross streets of caller)

  4. Some problems I've had:

Selecting multiple units now lags the game horribly, never used to.

The Bat Chief won't go back to his Station unless you manually direct him next to it.

Civilians stand in the middle of the streets and block traffic after being chased away by fires or gunmen. This problem has been here since the new map.

  5. When i try and play a regular 911 first responders mission, i only have access to some of the units that LA mod added. Is there a way to make it so i can use all of them?

No. It's hardcoded since those are the only units you'd be able to use in the regular game.

  6. Place in the World : Mafia (The Game! :P )

    Where: City of Lost Heaven

    Time of place : 1934

    Style : Old School

Instead of having portable radios, Officers would have to click on a telephone booth to request backup/ambulance/fire. 1934 pedestrians, cars, etc. The riots and protests could be about the economy from that time... it would be great!
