    Hi again,

Here is a bit of context, I am trying to update my mod with vehicles from the kent mod (this version of my mod will NOT BE RELEASED), and I was just wondering is there like a easy way to transfer the already created lights in the kent mod as I do not have hours to spend on redoing the lights and the patterns.

As I have copies both the model and prototype folders into my mod but the lights still contain the base mods light patterns even on the new vehicles.

I think you have to change some root info inside the editor. Also, maybe creating first a prototype and then overwriting it is best option than just copy paste.

I use sketchup still for it’s simplicity. The only issue I run across occasionally is sizing (although this is probably a problem for all other outside programs) and typically use a vehicle to scale for the game. Feel free to message me if you run into any programs if you use this

thought Sketchup gives some CTD errors which it's models.

But what about converting? Do you still need Zmod?

    The issues

    #1 To much Coronas

    Are you new to Lighting?

Just make Coronas bigger or use custom Coronas and dont forget Polygons

You want Nice Lights , contact me I m work on ELS is about custom Coronas made by me

    Regards

Not new, but never seen this until some time ago. Thought it was related to a certain model, but now I know it's an EM4 default issue.

I use polys sometimes, but with this kind of lightbar I have to test it

Thanks for the advice, will contact you soon http://www.emergency-planet.com/uploads/emoticons/default_smile.png I only use the custom coronas uploaded here

It is a feature of the em4, you can't do anything with that.

Em4 saves light positions using X/Y/Z coordinates. When it saves the coordinates/positions, they round off the numbers to decimal places that are not precise.

There's nothing you can do about it. You will have to change up the light setup of what you're trying to do. Instead of using aligned coronas, try using polygon lighting.

Oh. Well. What a mess. Will try bigger coronas then... Polygon doesn't match well on this lightbar.

    Thanks both.

  5. Hi. I'm having some issues setting or modifying "bluelights" to it's position.

First time I set them, all are shown perfectly aligned. But if I reload the mod, some of them change it's position to an incorrect one. Very frustrating.

I'm not using childs, just models attached in Zmod

The screenshot shown where are positioned after reload.

No need to fear this mod is still alive... running through some hiccups on the map but still planning a release. If anyone is interested in beta testing within the next month or so please message me

Re-worked the lights of the NYSP units a bit

Looks promising. I don't know what do you need from beta testers, but count with me

  7. Well, the 911 first responders version (or steam version) only support normal map (map 1).

I've read that you have modified the deluxe map, which is unplayable with the normal version...

  8. Si podéis para alguna versión futura, podríais hacer un Lang para la versión inglesa (creo que se llama así). Si necesitáis ayuda me lo decís

if you can, the English version needs a Lang file for work correctly (read units descriptions)

    Gracias
