  1. hey i don't know if this was reported or if it's just me but this thing is so buggy fire trucks won't go to stations firetrucks get stuck in gates and a lot of other things to

    I think so buggy is a bit of a over statement as its no more buggy then other mods in the beta phases... If you read through you will also see a good amount of information referring to the fire truck and stations issues!

  2. I found a weird little glitch when I was playing on freeplay (it was during the earthquake scenario)last night. About halfway through the all vehicle skins disapeared and all that was left was the lights and the hose connections on the engines. It's never happened before. Please help! :nixweiss::wall:

    Sounds like a graphics issue =/

    Heres a list of bugs i found

    Engine 210 parks in ladder 10's bay an gets stuck

    Ladder 51 gets stuck in the back door of the bay

    Medic 410 parks cross ways in both bays an gets stuck if engine 236 is not in the bay

    Engine 10 sometimes parks in engine 210's bay and gets stuck

    other an that the mod works great

    Im aware of all these and am working on solutions

  3. NathanDollinger - You've got a good little edit to the Woods map. I'll give you that. I'll give you props for taking the time to fix some of these issues.

    Here's the thing - Some of the comments are actually suggestions, They're not picking at you, they're trying to help you make this edit "better". So when someone asks why something is placed there, simply give them a reason to why it's there and if you feel like they're suggestion is better, then fix it. If not, again say why it's not a good reason etc etc. When people don't get decent answers they become slightly confused and annoyed. It's better to give them a straight up answer than to give them a "why does it matter??" answer.

    Please do understand I'm not picking on you or anything, I'm simply summerizing what's happening here. Like I said, great edit, I'll definitely be using it.

    All of the comments I've read over are all positive, nothing negative. Just a bunch of suggests and some fixes. Best option is to use those suggestions that people are giving you to make this edit better so to say. No need to get defensive at some of the things people ask.

    Lol its not that im being defensive its more i made it the way it is for a reason and thats what it is so dont question it lol! Suggest all you want but if ur suggestion has already been answered or is just annoying to me ill probably give you a annoying answer lol!

  4. i downloaded this mod and it comes up no additional fire stations and the 2 stations are empty basicly only thing that is there is a map and noise

    Play longer...... oh and read some previous post i think you will figure out whats going on!

    A script has likely gone wrong. Was it downloaded properly?

    The script is fine he just didn't pay attention!

    when i send the tow truck to accident they come out and they stay in one place

    Im sorry ... Fixed that issue in the update ( Which isn't released yet)

  5. I've got some goofy issues with this mod. All the apparatus go to the stations okay, except for a few minor bugs:

    The EMS car is a gigantic heavy rescue.

    The Battalion chief vehicle is actually a Squad.

    Units get lost or disappear off the map

    Eahg the cars are all right .... there not really Supervisor vehicles any more there rescue units!

    Map issue should be fixed in next release

  6. Nice edits dude, but..

    (hopefully constructive criticisms)

    a) From what I've seen you should learn your way around Virtual Objects before trying to set up a completely new map, these are the things that will allow the use of more complex scripts such as Firestation etc. Without knowing about these the map will be a step down from the original as its not (fully) firestation compatible.

    b)This isn't a mod as such. I'd call it either a submod or a map add on. To call it a seperate mod would seem disrespectful to the creator of the base (Hoppah).

    But saying this, the community has been immature in its response, you guys did ask for a release of a private mod, from a member that seems new to modding. You can't expect the next LA mod, you have to use common sense to think, and allow time to progress.

    Just my opinion, doesn't count for much :)

    Eeehhh have you played it??? lol I know about virtual objects and the To Fire Station Script works fully other then a couple of parking issues which are due to spacing

    The Fire Station Start script has been removed as i feel it takes away from the game along with the fact this was originally aimed at a multiplayer mod which means its pointless!

    There response all though immature did give me something to laugh about which was nice!!

    I am fully aware that its a sub mod ( Note: Its in the submod section for LA Mod Forums =D ) I mean no disrespect to hoppah and love his work!!

    Hey, is it possible to play this map in single player?

  7. You are raging about that im telling few bugs, only thing what matters on game play is that vehicles dont cross bridge. If you cant take critic, well not my problem.

    This is the first or second release? The first release, there will be bugs of course but the second, the bugs should be worked out; at least most of them anyway. Well, I will try it anyway, sounds pretty good :). Look at my sig though and get ready for the list. You have been warned.

    ... I like your signature it will give me more things to make better.... Every release will have bugs.... If the 2nd release was perfect that would be the end of development and a lot of things would be a lot less then what they are today!

    I like the map and everything that I see, but unfortantly it does need A BIT of work to be done.

    If you worked some of the truck routes I think it would be great. I have found some really really frusterating routes thats just crazy. Like the traffic accident on the highway. It took USRA a long time to get there. It took my heavy rescue to even longer to get there and took some really screwie routes.

    But yea man... Really really good. I am looking forward to the actual release :)

    The Update im working on now fixes MOST of the traffic issues at lest for the player controlled vehicles i completely re-did the paths i also greatly improved the Interstate part of the map! ... Sadly it will always have problems just as in real life interstates are a pain in the but!

  8. Too much bugging, emergency vehicles dont cross bridges..some off sirens missing..tower 51 hardly goes back to inside station..

    2nd releases and you didn't think there would be bugs ??? ..... if its too buggy don't play it .... lol

    Dude i love this mod its awesome everything works great for me

    just one thing can you add some POVs for the FD and have them patrol the city maybe use unmarked PD car and trucks but put blue lights in(not on) them

    The patrolling vehicles cause to many issues its a good idea but it just don't work well =/

    We could probably do a POV that parks at one of the stations some where ?!?!?!?

  9. One of the engines wouldn't go back to the station. I forget which one it was exactly.

    EDIT: Checked and found out that it was Engine 36, which as I noticed, does not have a home station. Also, WHY is the EMS squad model a rescue? Not to mention that it has nowhere near the amount of lights it should as a rescue. And the two units at the hospital are Medics 35 and 510. 36 has the red hood.

    Engine 36 currently dose not have a station and at this time its not planed to have one!

    The EMS Squad is a rescue cause thats what i wanted it to be!

    i've noticed that some units are at the fire stations but they are stuck there, in the beginning you can tell there are units there because there are fire fighters running to those units. i can't tell you which units are stuck there because they don't show up the id's
