  1. That happened to me once during an arson near the McDonald's. Exploding cars knocked down the firefighters, disengaged hoses visually. But to the engine, the hoses were still attached and couldn't move. Clicking rapid deployment again allowed the engine to move again. Not really an annoyance for me as I discovered the solution for myself.
  2. If you tow a car that is parked, then later it will respawn in that same spot.
  3. Nice work on the K9, Hoppah. It's awesome.
  4. I've encountered this bug too. I just get the handler back into the car and empty the car again, then he gets the dog out. Another thing I noticed is sometimes I hear sheep in the area when the dog is out and he seems to wander a bit like he's herding.
  5. Another funny thing I noticed when using the K9. I heard sheep noises. It's like the dog is herding invisible sheep.

  7. Traffic problems are still an issue after applying patch 3 but the problem is still better than before the patch. All you can do is redirect the cars that are blocking each other.
  8. That rifle sticking out of the suspect's car is like some sort of anti-tank rifle. What kind of a thief would have an anti-tank rifle?
  9. I know some people here said they would try some solutions to get the stolen car event in freeplay to work and they seem to work. But I never get the event, patch 1.9.3; new map.
  10. I know quite a few people that use hamachi to set up games. It's an easy way to host games without having to adjust port settings.
  11. I've seen that happen in multiplayer when using the chase command. It's one of those bugs that don't have a fix, as far as I know.

When you run the mod installer, it should be able to find the directory where your game is installed which is something like this: C:\Program Files\WizardWorks\911-First Responders If you see something like this when the installer asks you if you want to install there just click next and continue following the installers instructions.
  13. Stolen vehicles? I never got that in freeplay 1.9. For me it's the usual medical emergencies, vehicle accidents, pickpocketers, hostage takers aiming guns at a wall or plant, and so on.

  15. Awesome! The K9 will be a good addition, chasing down runners. The tarp looks nice for realism. I think it would be useful for mass casualty events, making it easier to sort out the dead from the injured.
  16. Ah, ok. I see. I rarely use the tiller. I only call it in after all of my engines are deployed somewhere.
  17. It seems to me that the tiller's cannon has a shorter range than the tower. The tower's ladder can turn so that it's cannon can reach a fire but the tiller's ladder doesn't seem to do that. Anyone else notice this or is it just me?
  18. Hmm, LAPD K9 or LASD K9. It would be nice to have both; it's hard for me to pick one over the other. If not, I'd be ok with just one. As for the vehicle, I think the SUV would be fine.
  19. The standby command is useful for calling backup if you have police cars stationed at different locations on the map. The command allows you to select specific units you want to be ready for call outs.
  20. It's not a bug. That's the standard staffing of the ambulance at station two.
  21. He means the symbol that appears on the minimap which indicates suspects. As for the stolen car events, they don't appear at all on 1.9 in freeplay. There's a problem with that event.
  22. If you have Vista, try running it in compatibility mode Windows XP and also select the check box for "Run as administrator". Try those settings with both shortcuts.
  23. What do you need help with exactly? Do you mean you can't find the mod in the game?
  24. Seems the problem with ambulances getting stuck in the hospital parking lot is fixed. Plus the traffic problems have been reduced. The redirected vehicles are a problem though as they ignore the redirect command once redirected.
