  1. In Japan the Fire department are mostly run by local largest city in the area. They could have budget problems too.

Even that they have the main city budget and plus the bugets from the the near by towns and villages.

At a stations you can see the a wide range of trucks and models at different ages. So customization could happen.

Like some times the lonely village station would have the oldest fire truck ever saw...

So Japan also really have no big national system and funding comes mostly from the local area.

They also do have the system where other fire departments could goto the other areas to help out other cities too.

  2. The United States of America, unlike many European countries, does not have a national system of Fire Protection, Suppression or Emergency Medical Response. Instead each department has it's own policies based on their own geographical area, need, budget, and state/county protocls. There are very loose guidelines set forward by the NFPA and Firescope, but as to the specifics of your questions, there is no answer. No two agencies are alike, not even state to state or within the same county.

Agree... It took a local small city fire department many years to replace a Tower Truck that was built in 1983.

Not all small city, county, and township's have the budgets for new equipment. I bet there a Truck from the 60s running at some department.

  3. Volunteer fire department are small... Be hard to find a big one to make a mod... EM Mods are mostly work well with big cities departments.

Volunteer fire departments range in equipment and units... Maybe hard to keep every one happy what they want.

  4. Nice models. :D

Thanks, They will get better later. :D

i agree! but that might be a problem to skin unless someone can PROPERLY convert it to z3d.

ill do the big one for you if u want ;)

Sorry, I like to be the one to make the stations... Since I been to them before in real life. I know how they are design also.

Plus I suck in making vehicle models. :gruebel:

I maybe will make the skin for the stations... also...

  5. Using some designs off of Japanese Fire Stations and some of the Votes.

I design these two stations. Layouts Models...

This fire station here can carry about 2 Normal Engines, 2 Ambulances, and 1 Large Engine or Ladder.

This was a little too simple... maybe I will upgrade it. But this is a 2 parking garage.

If you think we should have any kind of other station models. Let us know.

Still vote and maybe add a post.

  6. In the "Tokyo Mod" we are going to have our very own Fire Station in Freeplay mode.

Don't know when its going to be in the mod. But so far I'm designing the station.

If any one has an idea?

It must be a idea that is currently used by a Japanese Fire Department.

Also having a picture of what your idea. Will also help us understand.

The Votes and Ideas would be review over. To see if we can use or add them.

Feel free to talk about this topic also.

  7. Where: Australia

    Town: Sydney

    Time: Present

    Why: Because Australia is cool!

Cool! some else thinks that city would be neat to do.

    Where: Brazil

    Town: São Paulo

    Time: Present

Why: São Paulo Fire Department is very cool!!!

Wow! That a whole different world there.

Isn't that a huge city with blocks and blocks of over 20 floor Apartment?

I think its like super huge like cities in Japan?

  8. We do not know the exact scale of the vehicles in the game originally since most are not true to a real life scale, some are possibly, but in the end the scaling was done more by judgement on the vehicles than by actual 1/1 scale... Use the original car as a guide then adjust to what you believe is accurate for your respective vehicle.

I think some my units are a bit smaller...

    Guess I'll mess around...

  9. I'm working on vehicle models for my mod. Some of my Engines have different scale sizes. So I can't make it to the Normal EM Engine size. I think?

I'm looking for a good way to find out what so call real life scales the EM engines. Becaue with my engines I know the real life scale to then.... If no one know what so call scale size is? What are the EM Engines based of in real life so I can find their scales...

    I need to know...

    Its height

    Its width

    Its length

    Other words its X,Y,Z....

I know in other mods they had to figue out this scale problem also.

If any one has any helpful tips let me know...

  10. We tried playing with Hamachi and then tried playing through the internet, no hamachi, and it didn't really change a thing.

I have it too.... but it didn't change my IP in game... I don't know why it didn't? Unleast I have a setting set wrong.

  11. Back to topic... I have question....

In the game.... What you say is the normal size of the EM Engine? Like whats it height, width, and Long you say it is? If its unknown? What the size of the Engine its base off of? I need to see if my Engine is bigger, smaller, or same size.

  12. I'm not a dumb tard.... I know what a freakin Inmate looks like... Jeez....

I live in this hell hole we call America! I also live in a forest area too.... We have a few small forest fires here.

I can't help it... if the uniforms are different or I didn't know why the styles are not the same....

Jeez don't have to bash me like I'm a darn kid... Not every one can be experts at every thing...

That Why I was asking what you basing it off of...

I guess I shouldn't asked... If some one going to smart and not be nice to the person who ask.

Thanks for telling every one about the USFS.... I least know just a little more what I knew...
