how do u copy and paste over a file i copied and pasted it into the file how do i do this

Right click on the file than select copy than take that file to the other file and than right click and than select past.

Do not high light the file you are pasting to.

Can somebody please tell me how to install! Do you have to have LA mod with patches? Some in the thread says that u do some same you don't. Please help I want to play so bad!!

You will not need LA Mod as its got LA Mod in the zip file already. You might have to zip the file twice as I had in order to get both files.

If you already downloaded the mod, you will have 2 folders, the LA Mod and the Map folder. Put the map folder in the LA Mod folder and scoot it over to your mod folder of 911 FR. Than play and read the first page of the Mod first.

As you can see Dyson, I can reskin as long as I have the right file to work with as I got the Blazer file from the rihis website and some credit goes to him.

Thats already been established as an issue.

I have fixed the van on my own with the editor and it took some Light moving and removed doors than replace with correct doors.

The Bomb squad unit I had to remove 2 wheels and move the lights and added the NYPD vectors on the cab.

I notice that we do not have any NYPD suv's.

How'd you get them passing through the centre lane, I hadn't put much thought into it

Go to your editor map and than Ctrl F7 and put it in center of highway than take the direction lines to the center. Change the subject, I recommend that you put some more Fire hydrants on the maps. Some people do not know how to edit and not edit savvy. I also have it that the EM vehicles can drive on outer lanes and move over to next lane to avoid construction on the outer lane.

The only bug I've noticed is the PAPD car is missing and the hose connections on engine 1 don't work. Also I thought I remembered mention of riot police before and I can't find any XD

But seriously, awesome work!

Engine one does work but there is delay. The firemen will run off somewhere than they come back and hook up to the hose cup lings .

A message to Dyson, That 80's Caprice NYPD Car, that model is not to scale with the CV's. My suggestion is resize it or get rid of it. Put the PAPD in its place if you have to.

The mod is working ok for me. My crime tape works for me,and the ladder is in its proper color.

But,idk if it is just me,but for engine 2 (the one by the stadium) to go back, it has to be near it. And the other thing and it might just be me as well is that I got an earthquake and basically every building in the city caught fire.

I also messed around with the stations for the problem with the hazmat and USAR thing and yea.. I failed at finding something because it happens with every vehicle I put there.

NY does not get Earth quakes like LA does. I think we should disable earthquake or just set it to a very minimum. I my self had just finished redoing my vehicle paths so they could move smoothly and plus I have the EM vehicles getting thru on the center lane. I also added a lot more fire hydrants. Than light post @ police stations.

Then why don;t you do it if you want it THAT bad. Have a little appreciation. They have put alot of work in to this mod, and nothing says the have to make another one either.

Not to mention, it would be time consuming adding new events. Even if they added it to there existing map they would still have to take the time to add alot of events!

Don't think I don't appreciate the work you guys do, I'm just giving encouragement to others to learn to do mods and just maybe you guys might find someone with talent. I'm not trying to piss anyone off. I my self have trouble understanding some of the things you got to do in order to make skins. You 4x4 are doing a great job yourself and YSB happen to come around to lend a hand and. That's commitment that I appreciate that. Dyson is another one that is doing a great job. I myself maybe going out of driving business due to my Illness, so I have a lot of time on my hands. So Please don't miss understand me as I am gunning for you guys. Thumbs up........

Just to let you know, I have only been playing 4x4 with YSB's Mod and waiting for the NY Mod. I did change a skin with the NY skins for me to learn on.

I dont think theres a need for us to include a airport, there isn't enough room and like explorer said we would have to create all new models which is pretty annoying.

Nothing says that you can't make another mod later if anyone is interested.......

I mean the JFK or any other airport.

I have another area in mind once I learn how to mod.

JFK airport is on the far outskirts of queens- like practically Nassau County. Also its huge. I can't imagine it being practical or really even appropriate to include it. lol

It would be wasted space if Dyson includes JFK Airport.

Its just an idea that I had to mention.

Right, what stands a reason to have a depot for the Coca Cola company and also have some small Coca Cola delivery trucks. About the size of the FedEx trucks.

Where the Hudson river is, put a depot there. If you have to, move the train or get rid of the train.

If you do put the big rig on the main road, just let it go straight from one end to the other like the big yellow bus. And maybe do the same with the walmart Truck.

You think that the modder could put a CHP officer with a helmet on the Motorcycle? All they have to do is skin the officer that's already on the bike and somewhat duplicate the script..

Thanks Dyson for taking my advice and do have another. As for the Read me file, I would suggest having another read me file for instructions on how to install the Mod as you have 2 additional zip folders and I'm not sure if we have to one by one move the files to the existing folders.

I think I have solve my problem and I just want to thank you to the persons that helped me in my little struggle. I have more time for this right now and the last month due to an illness I have that's keeping me from work. I'm still going threw test and I have another tomorrow evening. I manage to sit at my desk and tinker with this project as I have the great pleasure of doing this.

Are you the admin on your computer? If its a shared comp and your not admin you can't access administrative privilages

If your going to have snow on the map, don't forget the snow plows. They are dump trucks with plows in front of them.
