    Help me someone, :machkaputt:

    I uninstalled 911FR and got an email from Atari @ there download ctr and I ran into a problem. I saved the file on my desktop and than tried to download it. It won't and I even turned off my firewall and antiviris. what am I doing wrong? Reason I ask you, it looks as you have tech experience. Or anybody that reads this can. Can the A file atari_911frv2.12DOD17 be the download file, and how?

    Now, will this new map run just as smooth as the default map? I'm hoping this map isn't too big that it'll affect my computer settings. I'm not even close to upgrading my rig anytime soon.

    What part of Maryland are you at? I was in Woodlawn and now Sussex county De. How are you on installing mods? I suck when it comes to setting up for installing mods. Maybe we can communicate another way. Maybe locally. :blah:

    Also, the activation codes only work for that cd.

    I've been having problems with my 911 FR and so I went to my old email that I have saved about a year & 9 months and when I purchased the game I also paid for a 2 year extention. so I have till june of this year to get my download of the game. I deleted the game and found that the download button won't work. So I send support an email with my order # that was given to me for my game. I guess I have to wait for a week day as they probably closed on weekends. I guess I won't be playing for a while. :gruebel:

    - You have no proof of purchase

    - You should have made a backup of the installation files and the code on a cd or dvd ( Remember that for next time;) )

    And i have Emergency 4 on CD

    Hey stan, do I have to wait for a weekday to get a replie from customer support @ Atari to get my game downloaded again as I have my purchase #? :smoke:

    I have been away for awhile, so I just saw your news about 1.8, and I can only say awesome work dude. Keep it up.

    Hey Wood,

    No matter what I do, I can't seem to get your new map on. when I download it, it won't let me put in mod folder. I'm lost. Same for new sirens that I downloaded, they don't happen.

    Maybe I need to delete the complete game and reload the game from Atari as I still have print out from purchasing it. I was 911 First Responders.

    Download The New Freeplay Map Version 1.2

    Download links below the instructions. Read the instructions first!!! I made them with a reason.

    1. Download and unpack the New_Freeplay_Floor.zip file. (25mb's! large)

    2. Move the folder 'Los Angeles Mod v1.7' to your Emergency 4/Mods folder.

    3. This is a universal file, so it's for both versions and won't replace any file.

    Now you should have in your mods\Los Angeles Mod v1.7\maps the following file: newfreeplay.eft

    (So you don't have to rename it!)

    4. Download and unpack the New_Freeplay_deluxe.zip OR New_Freeplay_normal.zip file. (Depending on you version of em4)

    5. Move the folder 'Los Angeles Mod v1.7' to your Emergency 4/Mods folder.

    6. Make sure all older files will be overwritten (otherwise you did something wrong).

    If you have the deluxe version of EM4 then you should have the following files in your mods\Los Angeles Mod v1.7\maps:

    newfreeplay.eft

    dfreeplay.e4m

    dfreeplay.dds

    If you have the normal or 911/FR version of EM4 then you should have the following files in you mods\Los Angeles Mod v1.7\maps:

    newfreepley.eft

    freeplay.e4m

    freeplay.dds

    Witch version do I need?

    If you have Emergency 4 Deluxe then you need "Deluxe version only". If you have the Emergency 4 or 911:First Responders then you need "Normal/911:FR version only".

    You need to download the Floor again for 1.2 because of an update (the 3th bridge)!

    I can't get this to work. I think its because its not USA version. The Files do not allow me to go to Mod installer. I'm still learning as I have ADHD. I am a slow learner.

    that and realism, not very often ambulances bunk up... every now and then they might though, because of lack of ambulances due to events(99.9% of the time major emergencies) but other than that, it rarely ever happens

    Now here are two Ambulances and one is like the size of a fire engine and the other the regular size called the box in the early days. I believe that the big one has 2 stretchers.

    Why the .... are u welcoming Mike? and asking him how to install the new freeplay map?

    Maybe you can but a way I can understand if U don't mind. Read what I asked him and see the red type as I could not find that file. I didn't mean to skip over you as i'm having no luck getting any progress. Please help me wOOd....

    Hi Hoppah, I noticed an increase of traffic to my website regarding the LA Mod and while I have not played the game, I've noticed quite a bit of mis-information on the various boards regarding units and uses in Los Angeles. If I can be of any assistance to you regarding LAFD/LACoFD protocols and units, as well as codes and terminology please feel free to ask. I've been with Los Angeles County FD since 2004 and work very closely in a mutual aid area with City as well as live in City's jurisdiction. Prior to that I was with the California Dept of Forestry and Fire Protection working throughout the state.

    Just looking through the boards and screenshots, your mod looks very impressive. I can see you've taken a alot of time and care with it and if I can help in any way, just let me know.

    For some reason, with the black undercover car; officers get out of the vehicle very slowly compared to the other vehicles. It can get annoying at times.

    I have found the same situation with my undercover cars too. I don't let it bother me too much. Nothing's perfect in this world.........LOL

    Yea, me too......... I go to my mission editor and I can get everything but streets. I gave up so I rely on Hoppah and I give inputs on what should be on the next mod. And I got the whole winter to play 1.7v. I'm one of the oldest 14 year old too @ 50 years of age. I'll be 51 in two months as in Squad 51 HA HA, see what I mean! I have a 14 year old son and he thinks i'm kewel. :danke:

    How do I know what files are availible? I saw on the update of lamod website that there is a fire station on top left of map. Is that availible now? I saw more stations on youtube, and wondering that are they availible too? I am dying to find out. This is like a cliff hanger........
