So, would it just be easier to put in the HAZMAT? If so, could it be done that way? I just want FS2 to kind of look like my Station down the street.

That's going to require some more scripting. Follow the tutorial I gave chris to show how to make the basic edits on how to replace hazmat with the USAR. I'll make the short script real quick tonight to show you how to do it.That will be much easier for me than typing out everything, it will get confusing.
Wait, can't I just leave it, because the USAR is already in FS1.... or, at least in the base-mod.

Its probably a good idea to ask, but will the mod be in English? Or multiple languages?

Will there be automatic alarms? Like (not sure if real) if a smoke detector goes off, all you would get is unknown fire. If so, would there be false alarms, and a panel to reset the system? (I believe this is in the winterberg mod)

Yep. USAR waits, then backs out of FS2. Same with HAZMAT.

Alright try that. You changed some of it you weren't suppose to down in the gates coding i think. I can't really explain what you did wrong but I can show you because I don't want you to do it again.
Let me know if it works or not and then we will go from there, either way, a code was changed that wasn't suppose to be so I will have to explain that to you tomorrow.
No, Just tried it, it doesn't work, but i will try it again later today.

My department uses the Heavy Rescues to hold spares, one whole compartment full. It's a lot of tanks...

These stations represent the 2 most common set ups in LA. I forget the term for the main station, but the second station 2 is called a satelite station and typically houses an ALS Engines, BLS Ambulance and Hazmat truck just like in the game.
The larger one is a Task Force Station

EDIT: The only problem is that the doors don't open for replaced apparatus... ex) Bay door in FS1 won't open for replaced HAZMAT, before was USAR.

Knowing me, I would screw up how to change a location .... Could someone PM me or just post the script to allow the USAR to spawn at Station 2 where the HAZMAT is? If you can't, it's fine.

i'm gonna go out on a limb and say they have patrol routes which is what alot of people use now on the LA mod because in real life police arent just sittng up stairs in the station hanging out like fireman are

Well, since its snowing here in New York, I was just wondering if it is in the Mod or base game, or can the game/mod be made to make it snow... If anyone can tell me how, or if it can be done, that would be great.

That makes me glad, because my computer isn't the greatest, but it can run without hiccups in-game.

When I uses the tutorial you gave to chris, my LA mod just gives a script error and stays on the loading mod screen. So, I did screw up my game... >.<
